Goddess Maker Mechanic: PRESTIGE

Mechanic Introduction:

In Goddess Maker’s “Lab of God” game section, Prestige is a mechanic directly linked to Breast Growth for the Partner Character and Penis Growth for Player Character (or Pig Growth if playing with sexual content turned off).

Normally, even with applying the bonus values that nutrients grant to raise these attributes, they could only go so far until hitting an upper limit.

That’s because the upper limit of breast size and penis size are representative by the acquired confidence placed in the protagonists, represented by the amount of Prestige acquired during a playthrough, that increases the “Max-Level” that these assets can expand to, like the example of the Partner Character needing more Prestige for attaining D Cup breasts, as opposed to B Cups.

“Max-Leveling”:

The “Max-Level” is a term that signifies how much permanent growth a character can achieve before reaching a roadblock.

Keep it mind “Max-Leveling” only affects permanent growth and doesn’t affect temporary transformations like using a serum to temporarily experience the next node of growth on the spectrum.

Considering how this applies to the major attributes, these are the conditions:

• Height’s “Max-Level” is 10 feet in the “Lab of God” game section, a challenging feat, but not one that’s roadblocked. Otherwise, temporary growth can reach up to no specified limit within reason of the technology developed and by the end of the day’s duration the character will go back to 10 feet or under.

• Intelligence Speed’s “Max-Level” is determined by Height and the Brain Size that comes along with it.

• Strength and Beauty’s “Max-Level” are likewise capped by height, as well as certain augments or acquired traits not yet implemented within their bodies.

• And Breast and Penis’s “Max-Level” are determined by the aforementioned Prestige Mechanic. 

Earning Prestige

As the Player and Partner Characters operate an institution that slowly but surely, links to other institutions to legitimize it, throughout “Lab of God” there will be much opportunities to earn Prestige in the form of awards, trophies, titles, records, and so on, as “The Lab” excels in making a name for themselves.

Some examples on earning Prestige include:

• Winning a Day Off Attribute Contest, (ex. Winning an Intelligence Competition)

• Completing a Dissertation (ex. Performing a Series of Experiments and Publishing a Paper of its Results)

• Completing a Philanthropy Mission (ex. Curing Cancer and being Recognized for it)

• Breaking a Record (ex. Strong Enough to Overcome the Weight Lifting Record)

• Holding Deed to Property (ex. Purchasing the Local Store)

Prestige Competition

While some opportunities for Prestige applies to both of the protagonists, most of the Prestige are only available to be handed out to only one of the two protagonists, sometimes it is par of the course, since the two lab members specialize in different traits per their sex, but other times it can be a rivalry to be recognized.

Since the Partner Character can earn more Prestige than the Player Character, and vice versa, it can create a rift between them, and while this doesn’t affect the power between them as that’s solely determined by height difference, it can negatively affect the two characters relationship by dampening breast or penis "Max-Leveling".

In practice, typically the taller one would naturally have the opportunity to earn more Prestige over the other, as they control the lab and thus control the labor, which can trend toward their benefit to earn Prestige with them as whom earns the sole recognition for the hard work.

Relationship Expectations:

As expectations are as much of a factor in maintaining a positive relationship with benefits between the Player Character and Partner Character, as the actual ongoing of performing good deeds over bad ones, and avoiding hate to incur. It is key to ensure one character doesn’t over succeed the other character, if the relationship is intended by the player to reach the highest toggle and in so accessing the route change options tied to it.

For reference, the Partner Character is ultimate determinator of the relationship in the Dual Axis Leadership-Relationship spectrum, as she chooses when to break up with the player or to advance their relationship to the next stage of romantic attachment.

But although she is the ultimate determinator, the Partner Character is also highly self-conscious and very paranoid of how the Player Character perceives her.

The “grass is greener on the other side” mentality is in play, in where if attributes aren’t relatively comparable, but uneven, then the idea of switching to a competitor is a thought of possibility.

So in the example of the Player Character being much stronger than the Partner Character is beautiful, the Partner Character may grow weary of her relationship with the Player Character as she becomes unsure that she is good enough for the player.

That being said, the Partner Character is the automatic of the two and whose AI is to seek moderate improvement over time; whilst the Player Character is intended to have the freedom to hastily improve themselves, be in-sync to the Partner Character’s growth, or forgo improvement of themselves altogether in exchange for a more comfortable experience.

The ideal situation is one that the Partner Character outpaces you and you treat her as rival like in a racing game, keeping up with her, and potentially overlapping her only if you’re exceptionally good at the game.

Nevertheless the choice is the player's on how they wish to play.

So as far the seven attributes, over two, go, these are how they affect the relationship spectrum between the Player and Partner Characters:

• Height isn’t in the equation, but rather part of the multiplier of the others.

• Intelligence Speed difference is counted as the lowest of expectations, since the Partner Character follows an intelligence growth progression based on days passed. The player going far past the Partner Character’s growth doesn’t cause her envy to negatively affect the relationship.

• The Player Character’s Strength is linked to Beauty and vice versa, if one character exceeds their appearance stat to create a substantial difference between characters it causes friction to the relationship’s expectations.

• Penis Size is only factored as an expectation if the Partner Character is bigger than the Player Character and they’re at a relationship level where sex is consideration as a fundamental need forward to continue their boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.

• Breast Size on the other hand is only factored as an expectation if the player is taller than the Partner Character, else it doesn’t cause the Partner Character to envy, and likewise the difference of expectation is linked to penis size.

• Soul Size is counted as the highest expectation, mostly because the highest relationship level is locked behind both the Player and Partner Characters having developed psychic abilities and being able to fully disregard height difference as it’s beneath them.

Permanent Breast and Penis Growth

Unlike Height Growth, Beauty Growth, and Strength Growth, the permanent variation isn’t unlocked by the Coating Capsule, but rather is a subtle mechanic at the start of game hinted by how Prestige affected Marissa’s bust size, and is especially touched upon when the Super Breast Expansion Serum and Super Penis Enhance Serum are developed.

This form of permanent growth is what I deemed to be called as “Min-Leveling” which alongside Breast and Penis Growth, also includes Intelligence and Soul Growth.

Essentially “Min-Leveling” raises the minimum threshold for an attribute to consider its default value, the value that is normally restored after it temporarily fluctuates.

For further clarification, raising the Intelligence Speed’s “Min-Level” is a mix between completing a set of increasing convoluting nightly thought exercises and possessing enough intelligence raising nutrients during breakfast to increase to the next intelligence speed “Min-Level”, and this will help with ever increasing research goals.

Then for Breast Size and Penis Size, likewise they’re both fueled by nutrients as well, with the prior having its “Min-Level” raised by having another to massage the breasts, and for the latter, tolerating the urge to cum, a concept that is a bit more convoluted than merely avoiding a button click, especially as the urge increases daily.

This “Min-Level” stays in place, assuming the Prestige a.k.a. “Max-Level” doesn’t fall beneath the “Min-Level” and exposure to the Breast Flattening and Penis Shrinking Sprays are avoided, as these sprays reset the “Min-Level” back to lowest toggle.

Also note that the character’s height plays a factor to how “Min-Levels” and “Max-Levels” are represented, as growing in height lowers the “Min-Level” and/or raises the “Max-Level”.

• For intelligence speed, the hertz value stays the same, but upper cap is raised, as a result of a bigger brain.

• And for Breast Size and Penis Size, a F Cup on a six foot partner will not be a F Cup on an eight foot partner, and so the “Min-Level” is adjusted to accommodate the updated spectrum.

Temporary Breast and Penis Growth

Because it’s similar to how intelligence speed works, in that the value is more flexible, acquiring certain items such as a penis pump can temporarily raise the penis size during the night, expiring throughout the next day dependent on how much and how long it had been expanded for.

Overuse, of course, can temporarily lower the penis size, but like taking energy drinks for a better research day despite the latter-day consequences, having a larger penis has similar positive effects.

The current game build doesn't feature the full Prestige Mechanic, although much if the references in the mechanic document are inferring to details present in the current build and what was my developer's vision for adding them like I did. I hope to add the Prestige Mechanic alongside the A.3 development build, which will start development after the A.2.X Series is complete.
