Goddess Maker Game Section “Lab of God”

Introduction:

Since there are those who are curious about to what degree the game sections within Goddess Maker's route-based gameplay differ from each other, I made a sample basic outline featuring Goddess Maker’s initial section “Lab of God” that should help better clarify my main considerations for how I develop each of the game sections.

“Lab of God”

Main Objective: To Discover an Ascension Mechanism*

Main Themes: Human Experimentation and Human Limitations

Central Characters: The Player Character (POV) and the Partner Character (also referred to as “Allia”)

Central Mechanic: Cross Axis Dominance-Relationship System

Central Gameplay: Operations in a Lab Environment with a Self-Interested Autonomous Partner Character

Relationship to Ascendence: Unrestricted Discovery

Mode of Growth: Nutrient-Focused Natural Body Development

Moral Alignment: Positive Start, Mechanically-Incentivized Negative Temptations

Dominating Position: Up for Grabs
