Before Adora became Despara, she had to go through a lot of battle sims... We wanted to show her downfall to the merciless warrior she is in this AU, and how Catra got her scar.

Oh gosh, you're totally right! This was Iria's first comic, and that's something we both missed. Maybe we can save it by thinking it shattered on the ground or maybe that the mask fell with the outer face down? Unfortunately, this is something that has happened a few times, sometimes one of us notices and tell the other before posting and other times, like this one, we don't find out until a patron points it out XD Thanks for the observation!

Maybe the idea is supposed to be that it fell off and shattered on the ground? But it seems more like it’s supposed to be that it was cut through when she was injured Don’t get me wrong, I love the visual as it is, it’s just that one little detail that’s bugging me more than it probably should
