Finally the 1.47 update for Midwest as well as big news.

I now finally have the 1.47 update ready for you all. This will be the update that contains the Texas DLC merge as well as many bugfixes and work on Michigan/Indiana. Onto the big news as I am typing this the 1.48 Open Beta for ATS has just dropped which actually gets rid of most of the work I just did. Update on progress

I apologize for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been having a rough time the last few months or so. Due to financial reasons I had to increase my hours at my main job to full time while also having some minor health setbacks due to my disability. I do have a couple of days off coming soon so I do plan on working on a 1.47 version. Mostly I will be importing SCS’s work that they did to NE Texas and adding a few things to it.

Texas update version 2

Here is the next update for the Texas DLC. This has all the road connections in it however some of the scenery north of Dallas is rather basic. This is because I have been waiting on another member of the team to complete their work on it but I wanted to get an update out before the end of the year. This update also has many other changes. 

-Reworks Ohio Turnpike between Toledo and Cleveland

-Adds Ohio SR 2 between Toledo and Cleveland

Texas update and schedule

This is a special post to let you know about how I am planning on doing Texas DLC support. The "rough draft" version of the map is already available to download on TruckyMods. I decided to open that up to everyone right away instead of making that come here first. However the full Texas DLC update will still come here first. 1.46 update version

This update is for 1.46 and has minor roadside changes with fields alongside more roads. Other than that this update is pretty similar to the one from last month. A few of the town names on the map have been taken out for now across parts of Texas and Oklahoma. At the moment I'm not too worried about it as I did not put anything there. Big update for Midwest

Here is the Patreon update and this one is a big one. First off phase 1 of the I-94 rework from Matt which adds Battle Creek, Marshall, a reworked Ann Arbor and Jackson. It also updates some map overlay shields as well as a bug in Detroit. You also get a new road from Effingham IL to Paducah KY which is US 45. Final 1.44 update

This update includes bugfixes from the latest C2C version, a few minor changes along IL 1, signage updates around northern IL, northern IN, southern WI, Michigan, and parts of Ohio. This also has scenery updates around Detroit MI. This was built using 1.44 and will likely be the last update for 1.44 as the Open Beta for 1.45 has been released. This update includes complete support for 1.44 as well as updates in Detroit courtesy of Matt on our team. Also I have completed a section of IL 1 with scenery from the south side of Lawrenceville to IL 13. The rest of IL 1 has just gotten the farm fields with the housing scenery still to come. The next update

Finally I have a new update for you all. This update adds Lawrence KS as a delivery point on the map. It also adds 4 new scenery towns in Kansas and updated scenery around Kansas and Kentucky. I have also fixed all reported bugs over the last couple of months. After the move is over and I am fully settled in I think I will do the decor for this area and then I will go around the map and do a minor scenery rework to the roads as well as minor signage work mainly on the interstates. The next update

This update is built using 1.42 and includes signage and terrain updates around eastern Oklahoma. I have decided to go ahead and release this now so I can use some of the new assets that comes with 1.43. This update also comes with a few bugfixes around the map. The next update which will come a lot sooner than this one will be built using 1.43 and will begin a scenery upgrade to the map. 

Wyoming update testing

Here it is the testing version of the Wyoming compatibility update. This update not only has 3 connections to Wyoming it also corrects some of the steep inclines and declines around Kansas and Nebraska. I've had to add some new sectors into the map in order to make this work mostly around Kansas. New Midwest Update

So as many of you know the transition to 50 United is taking some time. I still want to continue to give you all new content. Therefore you all have a new update that includes the bugfixes in the free update as well as new signage along the Missouri/Kansas border and a scenery update there. Final 1.40 Paid Update

I have the final Paid Update that was fully built using 1.40. This updates the scenery along US 20,30, and 34 in Iowa and Illinois. Also signage updates in northwest Iowa and southwestern Minnesota. I do have some good news. It looks like I finally got my job change into something a little less physically demanding. Hopefully this will mean that work will pick back up. Next plans is to continue through parts of Minnesota with new roads and signage.

Iowa special update part 1

This is the first part of a special Iowa update. This update connects US highways 20, 30, and 34 across Iowa. A big chunk of that still needs scenery work as far as trees and stuff but that will come in part 2. Also you will notice some signage and minor scenery updates across western Iowa, eastern Nebraska, and northwestern Missouri. First off in order to get this update you have to have at least the $5 tier enabled. This is the new paid update for Midwest Expansion. Several miles of roads around Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas have received signage and scenery updates. Also all of the dedication signs around the map have been updated to be more readable. This weeks Patreon update

This weeks update adds new signage and minor scenery updates to northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Next week I should be getting a big chunk of work done in Oklahoma.

1st update of 1.40

I have for you all the first work that comes with 1.40. This work updates some of the signage and assets around Ottawa Kansas as well as areas a little north and south of there. I am updating several of the signs throughout the next couple of weeks as I am updating some signs with the new ones that came with 1.40. I've also extended the viewing distance of the assets and signs around that area.

Latest update for Midwest

I have a new paid version for you all which finishes the reskins of the interstates as well as a few select new roads and future towns on the map. There are a few more to go until 1.40 becomes official and then after that I will be switching back to the regular work. Sorry you had to wait an extra week I wasn't feeling great last weekend. 

Interstate Reskins

As the title suggests some of the interstates in South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have gotten reskins. That is all for this weeks changes as I begin to get the interstates reskinned and ready to add new roads around those states as well as North Dakota and the UP of Michigan. Next week I hope to finish the reskins and maybe even bring in the first few new roads for the expanded area.

Free version beta test

This update is the completion of the Nebraska area rework project. You all can now test it and make sure there are no major errors before I release it for free on Tuesday. I am excited to say that it is finally done and I can begin to focus on other things. I may go ahead and lay some of the ground work for the expansion project after this as I don't want to do any major signage or reworks of existing areas until 1.40 becomes official. This weeks update continues west in Nebraska with Chadron and Valentine added back in. Also Ogallala has been reskinned. 2 new connections to Colorado have been added as well as US 385 has been taken north out of Julesburg and a road north out of Sterling has been added. This weeks Patreon update.

This weeks update has US 20 extended a little further west, US 83 extended from North Platte to US 20, North Platte reskinned, and a reskin of US 30 from North Platte to Ogallala. I only worked 1 and a half days on this this week so not quite as much has been done as I originally planned. Next week I plan to reskin Ogallala and the area around it, add back in Valentine, add back in US 26 to US 385, add US 20 from Valentine to Chadron, and hopefully add US 385 from near Scottsbluff to Chadron....

This weeks update

This week contains a few new updated roads around central and northern Nebraska. There are also more road reskins in Iowa as well as a city point that is coming later in the year in Iowa City. The Nebraska rework is coming along nicely and there should only be a couple of more weeks of work on it before it is done at least for now. Thank you all for your support.

1st update of 2021

Todays update is pretty packed full of content. The I-80 rework is complete including a reskin east to Des Moines Iowa. Also Omaha has gotten a reskin with updated road types and intersections. I-29/I-80 interchange is now a custom interchange. There are 2 new future cities on the map Sioux City Iowa and Fremont Nebraska. Christmas week update

Not a whole lot on this update as I only worked on the map today due to the Christmas holiday. All of I-80 in Nebraska has been reskinned as well as the beginnings of an Omaha reskin. Next week I plan on continuing with the Omaha reskin as well as redoing the I-80-I29 interchange. Then its on to the roads north of I-80. This weeks update

This weeks update nearly completes the areas south of I-80. It should fill in the gaps as well as fix any bugs in that area. Also the beginnings of the I-80 rework is in there with the stretch between I-76 and Lexington NE. Also if you look in the files there are some signs of the future with regards to whats to come in 2021. Next week is Christmas and therefore it could impact the update schedule for next week. First update of the week

This first update is just some scenery updates to southern Nebraska and northern Kansas. This also has a few bugfixes including the Louisville bugfix. There will be another update Saturday night hopefully with more scenery as I begin to head north of I-80.
