Rendering Tip: what you cant see, cant hurt you.
I know I've said this tip before, but I do it so much that it earns itself another explanation. Choose your camera angle early. When you get into 3D art, you will find that a lot of posing that you do may not be noticed in the end because the final camera angle only shows a portion of the scene. You may spend a lot of time placing background scenery or posing the character's fingers just right, only to never see those touches in the final render.
Setting the camera angle early not only eliminates the possibility of not seeing the details, but it removes the need for some details as well. I chose this camera angle early, and as you can see, the trex's feet are not shown. I didn't worry about the toes sticking through the ground or the foot floating in air because I didn't have to.
