Hey everyone, just wanted to share some color flats I just finished for a painting I'm working on.

I made the sketch on my iPad, then transferred it over over to Photoshop. The scene originally had mountains in the background, but I found that it compositionally took away from the car as the focal point... and also the square frame felt a little awkward to me 😭

I don't like deleting so much from my original concepts, but I think it was the best decision for the piece! What do you guys think?

Also, I'm in the process of making a new video tutorial set to drop this Friday for my Spectrum Tier members- This one's gonna take a closer look at how I chose my colors, color theory, and how that fits into my overall workflow for creating a finished piece.
