Finally finished this classic Pokemon trio- Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar 👻 keeping each one under 30min.
The render is fine, but pose/concept leaves a lot to be desired. If I have time, I'll do another set but try to focus more on a cool pose or idea!

This one was a great exercise in controlling isolated light sources. Towards the end, you might notice that I actually darkened the entire scene and introduced that deep blue background. This let me push the glow of the tablet screen, and get that really nice illuminated effect with the lighting.

It feels like iv'e been drawing so many simplified heads and faces that I forgot how to draw more realistic ones 😅 this was a great refresher on how the construction of the skull and subsequent facial features click together. I should definitely do some more of these
