Let's Create a Charater Part 13: Fashion Sense

Should be the last one - how does she dress?

Keep in mind - for her job I'm going to go with Bartender who is aspiring to be a fitness influencer.

I don't really follow women's fashion trends in an intellectual way, I just observe them, so I know what girls are wearing but I only have a vague sense of what anything's called, so let me explain. If I'm wrong in what things mean I'm probably going to keep being wrong.

Overall her look should have some Hawaiian influence in colors and prints, although the clothing you normally see in Hawaii wouldn't be warm enough outside of the tropics. The descriptions below are everyday looks, if she's going to the opera she'll have an evening dress, a bikini at the each, etc. I'm thinking that when we first meet her she'll be tending bar, so she'll be dressed for work. To start at least.

Girl Next door - t Shirts, sweatshirts, Jeans or yoga pants, really sort of nonspecific. The default girl appearance. I'll make it interesting somehow.

Urban Casual - similar to above, but with a more Urban style - baggier pants, crop tops, overpriced sneakers: still casual but a higher fashion look. More colorful and ostentatious.

Sporty - yoga pants, tank tops, sports bras, hoodies or a zipped fleece - that "I may be doing something gym related soon" look. This is actually quite common - there's a lot of fitness happening here, but it's also quite comfortable.

Elegant - a more fitted, upscale look - turtlenecks, longer coats, narrow pants or skirts, high heels all the time. Honestly I don't feel it matches what we've got so far - we are exceptionally casual as a society so it's usually a look you only see downtown or with girls who want to show off how much money they have (or someone is willing to spend on them)

Punk - ripped jeans, schoolgirl skirts, fishnets and boots. A bit more black than otherwise; something like Nikki's look but colorful.

Hipster - baggier shirts, flannel, skinny jeans and chuck taylors.

If we can figure out a way to slide the ol' "shorts and thigh highs" in a way that makes sense then I might.
