I have the same problem too, I play the on Mac and I’m using the original game without mods or any changes.

2021-04-11 01:22:02 +0000 UTCFirst of all game support only original files, that means any translates, saves, mods etc can broke the game and I dont support anything if you do this. Second is MacOs and Android - Im also dont support it mostly, if you have any problems with error messages on this systems, it's "mostly" RenPy fault. Next is - taking a feedback of the same problems from peoples - If I hear about problem more than 2 times - it's must be a bug and I can try to fix it, I dont hear about your problem before. If you play only original game and on Windows + have all system requirements for RenPy - give me the error text, I will try to figure it out (In PM).

2021-02-28 20:33:37 +0000 UTCHi. I just started my first playthrough of Happy Summer, but I'm getting a bug all the time. Every time I enter a new room plus some other times I get a grey screen that says: "An exception has occurred". It's very annoying. I can choose to ignore it, but it comes again and again. Any way I can get some help=)?
