Agree i actually mentioned watching it too on the wicked movie reaction. I wish they had a full performance of the broadway show. I've seen clips and of it i really want to see cynthia act in it. The I'm here youtube clips i know most of views are mine.😂

I really think I like Cynthia’s performance more than Idina’s but it was so good to see the OG’s do a cameo. My favourite song comes in part 2. As Long As You’re mine.

Her broadway performance of “I’m Here” from The Color Purple is my fav rendition of that song. She played Celie in the broadway revival. She won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical playing that role. She also won a Grammy for her involvement on the musical’s album. You’ve probably heard a song from Cynthia that was popular called “Stand Up”, it was big on tiktok. It was for the Harriet Tubman movie, which she played Harriet. It’s the “I’m gonna stand up, take my ppl with me” song, idk if you know. I only recently found out “Home” is from the Wiz too! I knew the song from Whitney. Whitney’s first ever TV performance in 1982 was singing this song.
