Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I hated Umbridge so much! I was excited when I thought this movie would be the end of seeing her, but I was wrong. And from now on it gets REALLY dark.

Luna was definitely being bullied for "being strange." Hince the name Luna "Loony" Lovegood. I think of her as more whimsical than anything.

I'm just now going through your harry potter reactions and I wanted to say that at universal Orlando they're not going to start building the ministry part of it (at least from what I've read) and I can't wait to see how cool it'll look especially if it sticks to the movies

the problem with Fudge is that its not him not believing, its him in denial. Voldemort's original tear was so horrific that Fudge was partly sticking his head in the sand in fear and also because he didnt want to take responsibility of it as Minister of Magic, didnt want to be blamed. Thats why all the slandering of Dumbledore and Harry. Umbridge is just flat out aware and evil. "I must not tell lies" coming back is one of my all time fav Harry moments, its so perfect... also agreed on the scene of Sirius' death with everything being silent, it shocked me so much seeing it in theaters even though I read the books and knew it was coming.

Whenever you see them doing something super dumb like flying low through the city or taking off from the front yard - just know that's the movie adaptation trying to be "cool" and making the characters seem stupid as a result. :P Lol, Peter Pettigrew and the map and the twins being able to see him is one of the biggest plot holes in the series. I'm glad your friend pointed it out to you. Umbridge is the most hated villain in Harry Potter - even more so than Voldemort lol

The black spots on the wall is for the people who went against their family, for ex. marrying a muggle or someone who happens to be a Weasley (you saw how much they despise muggles and Weasley's, they want their kids to marry someone they chose for them) and also, they don't want to join Voldemort

I commented last time about the shirt with `These are the moments`on them. You mentioned this time was so funny. Your reaction to this movie was so great. I reacted the same way. I canΒ΄t wait till the next one.

Oummie

I love these movie reactions with you, to see how invested you get in the different characters and the stories in each movie. These are the momentsπŸ€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Say What Reacts (Anitra)

Yep, different director but this is the last one! He did all the remaining movies after this one too Yeah, I thought the design change of the dementors was... interesting. Personally I felt they looked better in Prisoner of Azkaban, these dementors look like warped mummies πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Mrs Figg was always just a name in the books, mentioned casually but not in a way that you would really think odd. She was a woman who lived in Harry's neighbourhood and would babysit him on occasion when he was a child, she has A LOT of cats. This book was her "big reveal" but of course the movie doesn't go into her situation... Essentially she is a squib (like Filch), a non-magical person who was born to at least one magical parent. Squibs are, in essence, "wizard-born Muggles". They are looked upon with a degree of disdain by some witches and wizards, particularly pure-bloods. They aren't Muggles though, Squibs are able to see things that Muggles can't, including spirits, such as ghosts and Dementors, as well as places that are magically hidden from the view of Muggles. Squibs can also use magical objects and creatures Oh Dobby was definitely featured more in the books but yeah, movie-making decisions, they gave his lines and/or plot points to other characters You would think that Dumbledore is keeping things from Harry in concern for Harry's mental wellbeing but that's not why... and it is all the more disturbing because of it. Dumbledore is a very complex character and I have a lot of mixed thoughts about him, especially in relation to Harry. More to be revealed as we go on to the end, I'll let the plot speak for itself. As always, no spoilers from me! 🀫 Nymphadora Tonks is a metamorphmagus, which is a witch or wizard born with the genetic ability to change their appearance at will. She is the daughter of Andromeda Tonks (nee Black) who is Sirius's cousin, Andromeda was disowned for choosing to marry a muggleborn wizard. Narcissa Malfoy (nee Black) (Draco's mother) is Andromeda's sister, as well as Bellatrix Lestrange (nee Black). Andromeda is the middle child, Bellatrix is the eldest of the three sisters Most pureblood wizards will never set a foot in the muggle world their entire life. Since wizards have the floo (fireplace travel) and of-age wizards can apparate (like teleportation), then they rarely *need* to venture out into the muggle world. Mr Weasley is fascinated by muggles and is an avid collector of muggle things but he doesn't really know anything overly factual or how anything works. He works in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts office in the Ministry of Magic, dealing with cursed muggle objects but that doesn't mean he knows what the objects are originally used for Quite a lot of British train stations have waiting rooms yes, but a lot of the older train stations (and especially in London) will have other side rooms that were used for various reasons, especially during the Second World War. London has both the Underground (the subway) and the regular over-ground train stations. The city that I live in has always been a prominent trainline stop and the waiting room was used as a canteen during the war, thousands of soldiers would pass through there in the Second World War Luna my queen, there's my best girl! πŸ₯° Honey, Moody wasn't really the teacher last year remember, he had his identity stolen by a Death Eater. Moody is a retired Auror (wizard police essentially), he only was teaching as a favour to Dumbledore. Plus there is a legit curse on the teaching position of Defence Against the Dark Arts, a teacher cannot remain teaching for more than a year, something unfortunate always seems to happen to them... (Voldemort cursed the position back in the day) As for a new teacher next year, well, you'll see... Oh yeah, that was me, I called her Umbitch. Now you get it! πŸ€πŸ˜‰ Thestral - a breed of winged horse with a skeletal body, a face with reptilian features, and wide, leathery wings that resembled a bat. They are very rare, and are considered dangerous by the Ministry of Magic. Thestrals are, undeservedly, known as omens of misfortune by many wizards because they are visible only to those who had witnessed death. They appear to be loyal creatures, able to discern a friend from an enemy and offer help to humans in need of transportation. There's a herd of them in the forest next to Hogwarts, they are used to pull the carriages Ah, the Nargles! Nargles are a magical creature that Luna Lovegood and Xenophilius Lovegood (her father) believe exist, though many others believed them to be kinda crazy and that Nargles don't really exist. According to Luna, Nargles were known to infest mistletoe, and to be mischievous thieves. Luna Lovegood claimed that her Butterbeer cork necklace kept the Nargles away and that her papers and shoes were taken by Nargles. But yeah, kids are mean because she's "different" and "odd", so they steal her stuff and hide it and call her names Snape is trying to teach Harry Occlumency. Occlumency is the act of magically closing one's mind against Legilimency. It can prevent a Legilimens from accessing one's thoughts and feelings, or influencing them. Dumbledore had Snape teach Harry Occlumency in an effort to prevent his mind from being penetrated and influenced by Voldemort. Snape is a highly skilled Occlumens, being able to successfully deceive extremely accomplished Legilimens Voldemort (remember he is a spy for Dumbledore). It is an extremely difficult skill to learn and there are very few who have truly mastered it, needless to say, Harry has a lot of trouble with it and does not learn it No, the others can't see the Thestrals, they are trusting Harry and Luna and sitting on an invisible (to them) creature There is a hell of A LOT of stuff this movie did not include, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is the longest book in the series, yet it is the second-shortest film. There really is too much missing to mention it, I really do recommend checking out the books sometime if you are very interested in the details Before this book, bribes mostly, Lucius Malfoy was very friendly with Minister Fudge. Plus no one "important" had seen Malfoy in action as a Death Eater. However, it wasn't mentioned here but at the end he did get arrested at the ministry, so he's currently in Azkaban Next movie is my personal favourite, both book and movie! πŸ₯°

If you go back to the family tree wall in Sirius' parents house you will see Bellatrix Black(married name Lastrange) is his cousin. and also you will see other names that will come up in next movies.
