That hairless cat/baby Voldemort thing took me tf out!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I always always tear up at Diggory's death scene. His father's wailing is so heartbreaking.

It's funny for the people who've seen Doctor who and who associate the actor with the 10th doctor bc there's times in Doctor who where his Barty Crouch Jr personality shows up... so whenever I see that in the 10th doctor I say "Doctor your Barty Crouch Jrness is showing" aka when he acts crazy.... I love when I recognize actors in other shows or movies they've acted in... but it's harder to see them as the character they've acted in when the other character is so recognizable like for Draco malfoy as an example the actor (Tom Felton) has been in other shows and movies like the flash since the harry potter series but he'll always be Draco Malfoy... same goes for the actress who played Hermionie Granger (Emma Watson) she's been in other things as well like the Live acton Bell Disney remake a few years back but I still remember her as Herminoie.... if this makes sense at all...

I think this may have been a Harry Potter movie that I have not seen before. This one was very interesting and now i know how voldemort became human. All the pieces are coming together now. I think this is tied with the 3rd one for me. Both were very interesting and intrigued my interest

Anthony Kuntz

Oh! Also, you were right. Barty Crouch Jr. was played by David Tennant, who also played The Doctor on a few seasons of Doctor Who.

I always forget how much they dumb everyone down in the movies - it really does get annoying "these are the moments" and it's even more annoying when you know the characters aren't actually that stupid (or obnoxious). The classic completely opposite scene to the books that you might seem referenced from this movie is the "did you put your name in the goblet for fire?" question that Dumbledore asks Harry after he's chosen - in the books, it literally says something like "he said calmly" and suddenly in the movies you have him shoving Harry into a cabinet. The directorial choices are...interesting.

the next two movies (5 & 6) are my favorites! super excited

tanasia

Haha I love it! 😋💕

Say What Reacts (Anitra)

More accurately it’s a Team of Pegasi

Loren Caserta

A group of Pegasus, is called Pegasi.

Loren Caserta

I don’t know why I am answering all of the weird completely unrelated questions in your videos 🤣

Loren Caserta

So I don’t know about ravens or whatever other bird 😂, but I do know that homing pigeons can find their way back to their “home” over thousands of kilometers. They would take a few pigeons from one roost, and when they had to send a letter to that location they would send a pigeon from there. The pigeon had to be from that spot though.

Loren Caserta

Ahhhhh That's it!! 💕

In the comment I made on 3 I completely forgot Voldemort calls Peter Pettigrew by Wormtail, but again without context you have no idea why he calls him that in the movies, but at least with that 1 you can correlate it with his rat form, but still completely out of the blue since no one called him that b4 this movie, & probably didn't even relate it to the names only mentioned twice in the 4th movie when reading the Marauders Map

LadyMidnight81

I really enjoyed watchting this movie with you. I look forward every week for you to post a new harry potter. I am excited what movie you will react to after the Harry potter Series and If you post reactions of movies and series at the same time. Anyways excited for what´s too come. Also you should put `These are the moments` on a shirt.

Oummie

Accio Firebolt-It's a summoning charm and his broom is also a firebolt, Harry used the summoning charm to bring the broom so technically he didn't bring a broom, he summoned it. I think that's why they allowed it, he used his wand

Naz G

Yessss, I remember the interview, it was actually the guy who played Draco (Tom Felton), he talked bout how the sharp part of the cane hurt his hand and the guy who played his father felt bad. Also, Caitlyn's tattoo is what the death eaters have, so you are right haha

Naz G

Hairless cat thing?? Lool

Naz G

I have really been enjoying watching these movies with you! I couldn't stop laughing at your reactions to Voldemort. LOL! I can't imagine watching these movies as a kid, but then again, I was the kid that was traumatized from the 1989 Batman version of Joker. LOL! Still blame my Dad for taking 5 year old me to that movie. I didn't start reading the Harry Potter Books until I was in college, because I thought they were for younger kids. This series started my obsession with reading books about "magical" schools.

Dani

Kirsten Dunst is who you were thinking Fleur looked like.

Dani

The part about Lucius cane, it was Dracos/Tom Feltons hand he hit. It's from a deleted scen from the second movie:)

Sara Claar

You're welcome! 🥰 I enjoy answering your questions and helping you understand everything

Druki

So much info!! Thank you 🥰💕

I actually met Robert Pattinson in a Harry Potter related event! J.K. Rowling really did make Harry a little bit on the dim side at times, although obviously in movies it's exaggerated for the "plot device, let me explain what this means to the viewer" moments I will never understand why they made the attack at the Quidditch World Cup look like a damn war happened! 🤦‍♀️ First of all, it was a handful of Death Eaters marching together, torturing the muggle camp owners and occasionally setting fires etc. The kids ran to the woods, yes they got separated from the main group but the Golden Trio were together, they bumped into Draco there. Harry had his wand stolen earlier and it was his wand that was used to fire off the Dark Mark into the sky, he got accused of doing it when the officials appeared. It was a bad, tense situation all-round, but certainly not World War 3 level! Oh yes, I forgot when you asked! Hedwig is the name of Harry's owl, she's female. Hedwig is the name of a patron saint of orphans Technically the Beauxbaton horses aren't pegasus, they are Abraxan. Abraxan is a breed of winged horse that is known for its immense size and strength. Unlike a Pegasus, which is a specific mythical creature from Greek mythology with the body of a horse and wings, the Abraxan is a distinct magical creature within the fictional world of Harry Potter The plural of pegasus can be pegasi or pegasuses, both are used, although most will just say pegasi. It just depends how much of a word nerd you are and whether you consider the Latin or Greek root to be the correct usage 🤷‍♀️ Yeah, blame the movie for the ridiculous entrance of Beauxbatons 🤦‍♀️ And it's not an all-girls school, the very first student from that school Harry sees in the book is a boy. The same for Durmstrang, they have girls too The Firebolt is Harry's broomstick, the one that Sirius bought him in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Harry cast the "accio" spell, which calls an object to you. You aren't allowed to bring anything other than your wand into the first task but you can then use your wand to do whatever, so Harry calls his broom to him You almost had it! You were thinking of the mandrake plant from the Chamber of Secrets, the one that looks like an ugly fat baby I love Harry and Hermione's sibling relationship so much! 🥰 You have to remember Harry is younger than the other contestants, so there are spells and magics he just won't know/be aware of yet. During the second task Fleur was attacked by grindylows (the same creatures that attack Harry when he's trying to get out) in the lake in the grass reed fields, she was hurt and couldn't continue to go rescue her sister Oh... oh no honey, Snape was definitely NOT besties with Harry's dad! 😶 I told you in the last movie that there was History with Snape and Harry's parents, along with Sirius and Remus and Pettigrew - since they were all at school together. Be patient, more revealed in the next one, Order of the Phoenix and even more in the Half-blood Prince Why did they make the maze such a back-stabbing showdown? In the book it's filled with spells and creatures, Harry practised with Hermione lots of different useful spells he might need, the maze was more of a challenge and less of a "win against all odds" foot race It wasn't me who mentioned about the love thing and what Lily Potter did, because that's not what she did, it's not exactly what happened. How many parents do you think sacrificed themselves for their children or whatever? No, what happened that Halloween night in baby Harry's nursery is something you will know by the end but involves Spoilers, big spoilers, so no word from me just yet! 🤫 Veritaserum requires only 3 drops in someone's mouth to get them to tell the truth - Snape, proceeds to dump half a bottle into fake Moody! 🤭🤷‍♀️ So how Barty escaped from Azkaban is a whole thing. His mother was sick and was essentially dying, she begged her husband to help free her son (despite the fact the he sent him to Azkaban in the first place). He and his wife went to Azkaban to visit Barty and then he and his "wife" left Azkaban, only it wasn't really his wife but Barty under Polyjuice potion. Barty's mother died in Azkaban, disguised as her son and Barty's dad kept him locked up at home under the Imperius curse (the Unforgivable spell, the one that makes you do whatever the caster wants), until he was freed thanks to Voldemort (who found out via someone else - it's a whole thing throughout this book, too long to explain here) Anyways, after Barty is found out at Hogwarts, the Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge sweeps in with a dementor and has Barty Kissed, without even having him arrested or interrogating him for more information. So he's dead dead, a soulless husk Technically technology doesn't really work in high-concentrated areas of magic. So no, no phones in Hogwarts or Diagon Alley, or the Ministry of Magic etc Yes, Warwick Davies plays Professor Flitwick, he's the head of Ravenclaw and teaches Charms, he also conducts the Hogwarts choir/band here in the movies. He also plays the goblin Griphook from Gringotts Bank Seven books but 8 movies yes, they split book 7 into 2 movies - so a Part 1 and a Part 2 Better get your tissues out and leave them out for all the rest of the series, you will need them! Don't say I didn't warn you!

Druki

Also I love watching your reactions to these movies! Harry Potter is one of my favorite movie series ever. The books are soo good too

Devon 💜

In the first contest with the dragon, Harry used his wand to do a spell that summoned his broom. His broom is a Firebolt broom so he said “Accio Firebolt”. In the scene before, Harry told Moody he was good at flying but he wasn’t allowed a broom. But Moody told him that he was allowed a wand, so that’s why he was able to use his broom

Devon 💜

They were all in the same school but you will get more flashbacks so I don't want to spoil you too much 🤭

Lau Reacts

I thought in the last one they had mentioned that the dad, Wormtail, Snape and the Sirius were all friends in school… but I may be mis-remembering. 🤔

Say What Reacts (Anitra)

So fun watching you discover Harry Potter! This is actually my least favorite movie but was like my favorite book for the longest time 🤗 Barty Crouch Jr is played by my love David Tennant who is still my favorite Doctor to this day from the series Doctor Who! Also: Snape and Harry's dad were definitely NOT besties haha didn't you notice he's always insulting James Potter and comparing Harry to his dad which is why he annoys him so much 😂

Lau Reacts

Barty Crouch Jr. Is played by David Tennant. He is most know for his role as the 10th Doctor in Doctor Who. Currently he plays Crowley in Good Omens alongside Michael Sheen. He is one of my favorite actors.

Heather Woods

Not hairless cat Voldemort🤣 I didn't like that all the guys had long hair in this movie.

Joy

Yes he was in doctor who. I haven't really seen the show but I know a few things as well. I've only seen one episode the one about leonardo da vinci.

Joy

That’s so funny that you said not Claire Danes, because that’s exactly who she reminds me of.

Rachel Brown

The actress that plays the principal in 10 things I hate about you is Allison Janney
