2022-09-07 06:47:06 +0000 UTCSeventeen mentioned at the start of their segment as Na was setting up to not treat the foreigners like foreigners since they've all been in Korea for 10ish years. Plus, they're very well known as variety kings, as Na PD himself said he knew how good they are so he'd be tougher. I honestly think that considering it was Na Pd, he was being fair. You will see more like this when you get to the Run Bts x Game Caterers collab. At least everyone got refreshing driks and watermelon from the first game, and they all got to eat lunch. (Some of them even sat during the 10 minute lunch round under their tents waiting for their turn, so they got to stay out of the sun if they wanted to) This was only desserts, so I thought it was alright.

2022-09-06 16:55:58 +0000 UTCThey did accept le sserafim’s win in the first round, despite Chaewon’s stutter, but because they were so good PD Na asked the girls if they wanted another round to give them more screen time. That’s why the girls agreed and said the first was a practice round. (It was explained in the editor’s subtitles). Unfortunately they didn’t win anything I also felt bad. Also it’s still a variety show and PD Na is MUCH MUCH stricter to others than these idols. He really gave them so many chances and dismissed their “cheating”.

2022-09-06 12:23:02 +0000 UTCI'm so used to k-variety shows and very familiar with Na PD but I must agree that the games on food (or rather the penalty of not being able to eat properly) is not nice. They already did stay under the sun answering quizzes for their lunch in which some of them didn't even get to have a full meal, then now for the snacks/desserts, alot of them didn't get them as well. Also, I agree that Baekho answered right on time... Anyways, since this was a picnic of idols and not an actual variety show (that can be harsh in nature), I just like to believe that their managers/staff sneak in some food to ensure the artists are not starving.

2022-09-06 09:01:49 +0000 UTCNa is pretty famous for all his games being for food and being ridiculously strict. So, it's sort of what they signed up for when they booked him - and it's what everyone was expecting, and it's part of the fun for them to be up against near impossible odds. But I get you! It's always nice when you know there's a consolation prize that's still good. I DO think that the TT team at the end should have one since Baekho and Na said it at the same time. I also felt SO Bad for the Fromis9 girl who choked at the very end - that would have been me. I am absolutely horrible at speed games. (Also, just a note because you mentioned him in the category. Vernon's been in Korea since he was 3 or 5 or something extremely young like that, and from what I've seen he tends to take offense when people refer to him as a foreigner.)
