Don't know if anyone cares but here's a simplified summary, In the US, eggs must, by law, be washed before being able to be sold to remove any bacteria that the eggs may have come in contact with. As a result, the protective coating on the shell (the cuticle) is weakened. The Cuticle keeps bacteria out of the egg while letting oxygen circulate so without it the eggs need to be refrigerated. In most European and Asian countries, the law states that eggs must not be washed. They are therefore safe to be kept unrefrigerated as eggs with their protective layers intact are much less likely to be infected by bacteria such as salmonella. Both regulations were arrived at as ways to solve the same problem, reducing exposure to salmonella. Also, the cost of refrigerating eggs is often much higher than the demand, so the cost of washing and selling them refrigerated is simply too high. that's for anyone who cares to know why. 😅

the refrigerated egg thing is done in north america by law as a way to prevent salmonella. this is handled differently in other countries. idk all the details haha

never thought about the eggs not being kept in the fridge in the supermarket before and now I find that weird as well lol because in the part of Europe where I live they keep small cartons of 6-10-12 eggs in the refrigerated area but the big containers that come with 20-30 eggs are just on a stand and now I'm trying to figure out the logic behind it 😅

To answer Brians question about eggs: in Finland, in the stores, eggs are not refrigerated. Personally in my home, we keep them in the fridge, but i've never seen eggs refrigerated in a store before lol

my favourite parts were the shopping too and when they were making dinner/testing out the menu but it always made me super hungry as i happen to liked everything they were making and i LOVE kimchi haha. fyi the sole purpose of us washing rice before we cook is just to rinse out any possible dirt and impurities in the rice, usually one rinse over is enough but some ppl do wash it a few times before start cooking. the water doesnt make changes to the rice itself like what you thought, and that rice and sticky rice are two DIFFERENT TYPES of rice, they serve different purpose too, we eat regular rice usually as main but we typically use sticky rice in dishes or desserts.

I think the reason why you feel the translations are fast is because they are translating even the captions, it's italized but its not noticeable. I do recommend checking it out again on vlive, cause the volume should be fine for the next episodes. The last part was they were deciding what they will do in the fanmeeting and they did a short karaoke after but it was cut in the Youtube video. My favorite part was when YoungJae said Tuna Mayo in a childlike voice and JB smiled like a proud father haha or the deep sigh of JB when he saw the pajama. Im not sure if you missed it but Bambam is assigned with the egg rice, JB is assigned with the kimchi ham rice, Yugyeom is assigned with the black pork rice and YoungJae is assigned with Tuna Mayo rice. Mark is doing the tangerine drink, Jackson for the promotion and Jinyoung, the mom is for calculations. Super excited for episode 3 but most especially, episode 4 cause its chaotic. I just watched you guys while at break at work haha. Btw eggs here in the Philippines are outside too!!

Also at the end of the video there was actually more to the episode where the members were singing and dancing but I guess the video you guys were watching they cut that part out and just skipped to the end
