I'm the oddball who uses Bing lol From my understanding no one liked rooming with Joonie because he snored so loud. He had a deviated septum back then before he got surgery to fix it, so now I don't think he snores as loud. It was actually November 2017 when he changed his name - during Love Yourself: Her era to be more exact. He changed it since he felt like the name wasn't really representative of him and the music he makes anymore. Yeah, I remember Hobi definitely struggled in the beginning adjusting to the new name and would let "Rapmon" slip occasionally 😂 I remember at first missing the name a bit, but these days I don't really miss "Rap Monster" and it's understandable that Namjoon would eventually grow out of it (he's definitely changed a lot over the years), but the cute nicknames were lots of fun. I still occasionally see some people use names like vocal monster, dance monster, and grapemon though. Every now and then the boys also use "Rapmon" or "Rap Monster" to address Namjoon in a playful way 😂

So RM’s mixtape was around this time and it was titled RM. it’s when he started talking about wanting to change his name, but didn’t officially change it until near the end of 2016 (beginning of 2017?) Think Spring Day and Not Today era. It was just after their very first BBMA win. I used RM even before the official change, as I’m sure other ARMYs did some too so it wasn’t a huge change. Honestly we (and BTS) used to mostly call him Rap Mon (it’s far easier for Koreans to pronounce and we just picked it up too) we also called him Monie a lot and in my head he low key still is. I don’t “miss” Rap Monster so much as miss all the nicknames we could have for him like Brain Mon, Dance Monster, Dimples Monster, Aegyo Monster...also the ship names! Before NamKook was Kookie-Monster 🥰🥰🥰 He changed it because he didn’t like to be thought of as a monster, but really we just made super cute nicknames with it

Haha we have "hot water heaters" which is basically like a tank the holds a bunch of water that is always hot and available but if you use it all up quicker than it can refill and get hot again your water will run cold. That is typical here but there are other things that are like instant hot water where no holding tank is needed. I forget what those are called but I am assuming that what you guys use. I wish I had that, it's way more convenient that way if you ask me. 😋

Bon Voyage really is the best content. I remember at the very beginning you said you wanted to watch Run to see their true personalities, and while Run is definitely entertaining, I think BV is the best representation of them. The further you go along in the seasons, the more like Soop it will get. For example, BV in New Zealand is pretty much them doing whatever tf they feel like. It's more relaxed than seasons 1 and 2 of BV. I can't wait to see more BV!! Tbh, I love Run, but if you'd rather take a breather and do BV instead I would 100% approve

Finally signed up for patreon as my own little christmas present to myself and of course this was the first thing i had to watch. So ... I've never understood this worry about the shower running cold when i watch american tv shows. Is that an american thing? I live in Germany and have been to a few other european countries on holiday and i never had a shower run cold on me because someone used all the warm water. What's that about?

Fiqih Dwi https://www.dailymotion.com/dm_04d7cc1b3f70b31644b765cf88a1b872 and Jung Hyun Ran https://www.dailymotion.com/hyun-ran-jung seem to be two of the best ones and usually upload at 720 or 1080. I also know ABC Channel has a lot of KPop content including BTS but I don't know how good it is.

I definitely recommend qdeoks website! That’s where I usually watch content like this in good quality (and for free 👀) I believe she has all seasons and every episode + behind the scenes. I’m so excited for you to watch the rest of this series! I recently rewatched season 1 of this and I felt so nostalgic since it was one of the first shows I watched from them as a baby army back in late 2016. It’s so fun to see how they were back then when they were a bit younger, and idk why but I find Jungkook so hilarious in this LOL. Anyway, thank you for starting this series 🥺💕

Just so you know if no one mentioned this Bon Voyage usually has an episode 0 where they show what leads up to the events of episode 1 and Season 1 Ep. 0 is free on VLive https://www.vlive.tv/video/10151/BTS-BON-VOYAGE--Epi-00 It's nice because you get to see the boys reactions when they are surprised with going on a trip and it's only about 8mins long. I hope someone sends you a good link with better quality because I just tried qdeoks site today and it was down. This happens a lot because whelp it's free content, she has had her site shut down before or sometimes she does so herself if it's getting lots of unnecessary attentions that could have it shut down. Do your self a huge favor when the website comes back up she has an option to download the episodes and download the whole season. I've had this happen before where I was in the middle of watching a series and the site got shut down for a few weeks. But I really hope one of your lovely subscribers is able to share their account links for you to watch or will send you the funds for you to purchase it on VLive. But I will say it's only $8.12 on Vlive including the behind the scenes footage https://www.vlive.tv/product/ds00u00u00000009 I wish it were on weverse but only season 4 is there (probably has to do with their vlive contract it having the exclusive for the other seasons but would love to see them be able to add them later). I do remember when they launched Weverse a lot of people who had purchased many things on VLive+ (I think it gave the option to download your purchases at the time or they use other methods I'm not sure) downloaded their whole library because they didn't know what the future plans would be and wanted to make sure they kept the content they had paid for just as a precaution.

It's been a while since I watched BV and it seems I've already forgotten a lot. So it is quite nice to watch it again with a friend. 🥰 I love these first BV seasons. Everything seems so raw and real. Very refreshing. I think it is mandatory in EU countries to learn English (it is in Germany anyway). And regarding the empty streets... I guess they arrived on a sunday. And in Norway (and many other european countries) most of the shops are closed on sunday. Therefore there are way less people on the streets. It is normal for a sunday afternoon. 😏 Thanks for starting this journey with us.

I love how you clocked Jimin's missing bag even before he realised it 😅 something similar happened to me and my brother when we decided to go camping in the mountains. we literally reminded each other at least a dozen of times to not forget the tent in the train and guess what was the only thing we forgot lol thank god we realised it right when the train started departing and we yelled to the conductor to throw it out of the window I think the first season is the best in a way that it is the most relatable one. they are just a bunch of young guys in a foreign country trying to figure things out. needless to say, things go south on multiple occasions but isn't that the beauty of travelling 😆

As many have said, English is generally taught in European countries. In Finland we have three mandatory languages we need to study, both of the official languages, Finnish and Swedish (depends on the area you live in which one is your first language), and English. We start English in third grade and our mandatory school ends after ninth grade, so a minimum of 7 years of studying English. Almost everyone continues studying after ninth grade though, either in high school or vocational school, so that's 3 more years of studying mandatory English right away. On top of these mandatory ones, we are generally offered elective languages, depending on the school, but most often we have German or French offered as elective languages in middle school (some are offering these already in elementary school). In high school there's a lot more languages to choose from because they open up language courses between schools. So if my school offered Chinese classes, anyone who was a high school student in my city could take that class, while I could go to another high school to take their Japanese class, for example. Of course, I live in the capital area, so these opportunities are a lot more numerous than for someone who lives outside the big cities. Anyway! I'm excited you've started BV, even if they are given tasks and things to do, it's more like having an itinerary for your trip than having a full on script, so I do think the boys are very genuinely themselves in BV. Can't wait for your other uploads as well, but no rush! Thank you for uploading!

Most Europeans learn English in school. I don't actually know anyone that didn't have it. Then later you can also add French or Spanish depending on your school, at least in germany.

Yay !! You finally reacted to your first episode of Bon Voyage 🥳 It definitely feels kind of strange going this far back in time and seeing them when they were so young. They're grown so much since then! You can tell how old this is just from the types of phones they were using 😂 Also by the way they are dressed, some of the members fashion style has evolved over the time 😊 Hoseok is definitely the most fashion-forward member of the group, and I'd say Taehyung is the second most fashion forward these days, however when this was filmed, you can tell that Tae hadn't really found his own personal "style" that we know of him today. Hoseok has told us before that he has always loved fashion since he was a kid and aside from music, it's another way he can express himself. He grew up in the hip-hop scene and fashion is a really big part of hip-hop culture, which is evident in the amount of street-style clothing he wears and which he mixes with luxury brands 😂 Hobi has this really "effortlessly cool" fashion style and is really experimental and can wear a ton of different styles, whereas with Taehyung, I think he has a really defined style which he really tries to stick too, if that makes sense? Like Hobi could just pick up anything without thinking of a specific aesthetic and then somehow make it work with his wardrobe, whereas I think Tae is more picky and would put a lot more thought into what he buys and whether it fits his aesthetic. From my understanding, it's actually quite common for Europeans to be able to speak English as a second language and is something that is taught in schools. I know Sweden in particular has a very high rate of English proficiency (71% of the population). Also, I imagine being able to speak English would be vital for the staff who work with the bus and train companies, given how many tourists they have to deal with on a daily basis. Namjoon didn't change his name "Rap Monster'" to "RM" until late 2017, which was quite a bit later from when this was filmed. This is Fire era, whereas his name change was during Love Yourself: Her era. It still feels like yesterday when he announced his name change, but now we're entering the fourth year since then 😳 And yes, please continue with the behind cams!
