I think this album is really interesting lyrically, because I don't necessarily think that she was in love with Matty, but instead was searching and clinging onto anything that reminded her of Joe (they were all three friends and also Matty is also British) which Matty seemed to take advantage of, which is why she was so pissed off. I love love love this album it gets better with every listen in my opinion.
