Making a visual novel game has been a goal of mine for some time but I have zero idea how to write something like that or how to code it properly. It would be something that requires a lot of time and care, so maybe it’d be something I can work on in the upcoming year if time (and money) allows.

That’s something I’ve never considered before. I’ll browse through Weight Gaming and see what to do and most importantly what not to do if I were to pursue this pipe dream. I definitely would want to try and see how much of it I could do independently but if my ideas are too challenging and I have the means to hire paid help then I might reach out for programmers. I don’t believe in asking someone to do work for free. Thanks for the tips!

If you're really interested in pursuing the idea of a visual novel kink game related to weight gain, Weight Gaming has lots of similar projects in the works and a community that could help you learn. Could maybe even find some collaborators to help you with the technical aspects since you've already got the art part down.
