Surprises

The first news to announce will be the specials to celebrate this anniversary. I didn't mention it (since I expected to have everything ready much earlier) but as such last week which corresponded to the end of January and the beginning of February being an unequal week would be a blank week, unfortunately February is the shortest month of the year, so I couldn't give myself the permission of not starting with the stories of the members, since, if not, the days would not be enough for me. *For that reason I thank the scriptwriter of the story of the family of the future who gave me an advance of the continuation of the story, to publish it this week.

Now yes, as part of the celebration for this special date each week will be published additionally a story from me, either from old projects or some I've been working on for a while. I hope you look forward to them.

But that's not all, as part of the celebration all the reward stories for the month of February will have more pages than usual so you can expect much longer stories.

Changes

Very well, in addition to the celebration for the year I also want to announce some news and some changes that will be made regarding the plans and their operation.

Rewards

Starting by first defining and clarifying some points, in the past I have been asked about the reward stories:

What are their limits?

Reward stories are based on the rates I have public for commissions. Both for the number of pages and the use of characters, as well as if you are looking to extend these limits through additional costs to the one covered by the plan price.

Why is the page limit higher than an ordinary commission?

The reason why the reward plan stories have a higher proportion of pages against an ordinary commission is for two simple reasons, the first one is the special value that makes the idea of belonging to a reward plan more interesting and attractive, and the second one is that they are always published once they are done, without exceptions. I know of some cases where they would have liked to ask for something more personal or morbid, but the fact that they are published weekly without fail is the reason that stops them and also the reason why I never mention names or related people even though some have given me permission to do so. So I will be clear in saying that the rewards cannot be private and I understand the fact that in some cases it makes you uncomfortable, but I also hope you understand the relationship between the Benefits and their prices.

Why do you only publish two a week?

This point has more to do with my schedule as well as the time I have to organize for the realization of the rewards, either from the search for the model of the characters (if it is the case), the scripting of the story, the assembly of the scenarios or the segmentation of the story for its realization, if I add all that to the possibility of attending a commission during the same week, the largest number of stories I can attend is two, and that is why the ideas or scripts are requested to the members for the realization of their story during that week.

With the doubts cleared up and all the above said, will any of this change? The answer is no, or at least not in the short term and with respect to the first two points explained above.

What will change is the system I have been using for the receipt, completion and delivery of reward stories.

Previously, given that I can only attend to two stories per week, once a week was over I consulted with the next members to whom a reward story corresponds for the scripts or ideas they wanted to see in their stories, the problems began when a member for various reasons did not have their ideas ready and had nothing to give me at that time, passing the time and leaving me between the ropes with a smaller margin of time for the realization of the stories. This is evidenced by the fact that in the last few months I have had weeks where instead of publishing the stories on a Sunday I end up publishing them on a Monday and even on one occasion on a Tuesday.

To put an end to all this. I will change the system at the root.

Now I will consult with all the members at the beginning of the month for their stories and as soon as I receive them I will organize them in the order of arrival for their completion, delivery and subsequent publication, what will be maintained as a custom is the publication of two stories per week. But the order will be totally corresponding to the order of the scripts or the central ideas for the stories.

Plan "The Collector"

It is no secret to anyone that despite having specified since its announcement that I would only attend to 2 rewards of this plan, 4 to more rewards of this plan are published per month, this is due to intermittent incomings and departures of members who enter this plan.

Given that at the time I mentioned that if the proposed existence of this scheme did not interfere greatly with my work schedule it would be extended to welcome new members. On the evidence of previous months it is clear that the worst case scenario has not happened. I therefore make official the extension of the membership limit from 2 to 4 members, hoping also to put an end to the chaos that caused so much coming and going during the month.

It's no secret to anyone that the biggest speciality of the stories I do is that they don't have a single text balloon or text to go with them. This is partly out of a personal commitment to how I like to make stories, but I also thank my members for joining me in this commitment. As such the rewards can be used for stories with text, which yes, will be much shorter because of the extra work involved in editing and placing the text, but that the possibility exists, it exists.

This new plan is for those who are looking for a story with even more script and should be prepared for that.

Let's start with a more detailed explanation of the benefits and what this new plan will consist of. The first thing to mention is that for the realisation of the story of this reward a script will be needed, and by a script I don't mean a text that tells the story or the sequence of events of the story as for the non-text rewards. This will be a script with names, description of scenarios and extra diegetic elements of the story, but don't be alarmed, it doesn't have to be anything complex or professional, just clear enough with the text that goes in each balloon and who dies it will be enough.

About the amount of pages the reward will have, it will be between 20 to 25 pages, one more, one less as needed for the story, but not more than that.

About the time it will take to complete it and it will be delivered, since like all the rewards this is a monthly reward, but unlike traditional rewards this will require more work for its completion, this reward will be delivered to its owner once it is completed during the same month and its publication will only be done at the end of the month along with the publication of the rewards of the plan "the collector".

This plan is scheduled to open in March and will have a single slot at a price of $15 on Patreon or ¥2100 on Fanbox. Depending on the success and the good reception to the change with the system of receiving rewards, the possibility will be opened to more members.

As additional information, in case you had any doubts as to whether it will be possible to request a story without text and enter this plan, then ..... Given that I never denied the possibility of a story with text to the rest of the members of the creative table plan, it would not be together, deny that possibility to anyone who wants to apply for this plan, although preferably its aim is that it is for people who would like to see a story with text.
