OK so maybe of you know, but there's this "mermay" hashtag event thing going on out there, during May... where the challenge is to draw a mermaid every day of the month?

I wouldn't dedicate an entire month's work to that, but I'd still love to draw a few pretty sea girls! It's something I've experimented with in the past, and I really enjoy it, mostly the trying to get some elegance out from each idea. :3

So here's a sketch for the first one! That's a betta fish girl on the right, and a sharkie on the left... getting dangerously close! ;;; I'm still not sure about their colors and the shading style to use, I'll figure that as I work on it. But yeah, I hope you all like it~

I'll get some Waifus done while I move these mergirls art on in the background!

SIDENOTE: Do you also wanna see more Miranda this month? You let me know if there's anything special you'd like to see, I'll try to work on it.
