In this update we want to give insight into what is happening now that work on the Demo has ended.
Demo is done, what are the plans now?
We are currently in the last steps of upgrading the project engine version to UE4.27.1.
Once that is done we will first spend some time testing performance and game mechanics and visuals to see where things have improved and where they have not.
We are also finalizing the entire scope of the game to create a full production plan. This involves all features and all content of the 1.0 version aimed for release in 2024.
To give you a quick overview of what that includes:
-Sandbox overhaul (quality of life improvements and many new features)
-Game mechanics (survival, combat, dialogue, items, inventory, NPCs, AI, quest, save, and more)
-Story and setting (e.g. sketch out every single sex encounter for the game, all factions and their motivations, the mian story line with Max and Maya and side-story content)
-Characters and factions (all characters and what factions they belong as well as their involvement in main and side story)
Our goal is to have a complete production plan ready by the end of the year.
PS: We are also looking into UE5 to be better prepared to upgrade the project in 2022.
What happens if Kickstarter doesn't succeed?
The game development continues to draw funding from our patreon and we continue with the plan. As of now the funds on patreon are enough to support our current development team so we will keep going.
We are very excited to finally move towards the finish line and can't wait to share more details with you. It'll be great! Stay tuned for more,

Ive been a supporter of Steve's for about a year, he makes big updates frequently, he maintains a presence here and responds to his patreons, he also looks for ways to do things for us like when he partnered with candy valley and when he got us the discounts for the fleshlight toys that work with the game. He's the real deal.

Thought I'd jump in here to actually test out things and see the 'behind the scenes' progression. I'm excited and hopeful.

2021-11-18 09:27:03 +0000 UTCI think most kickstarter backers would be fine with boosting their patreon subscription to give you the kickstarter reward equivalent that now seems will not reach you. I will certainly do that, because you've proven through all that's already been completed that you can bring the entire project to fruition.
