This one is based on an AI photo that was going around. In that AI concept photo, It was supposed to be a Predator punisher, but I was getting more of the Spawn vibes. Sooo, as a designer, a mashup idea was born, and I couldn't help it but go ahead and give the helmet some functionality and an original twist. So now we have the Predator Spawn helmet.
The dreadlocks fixed to the helmet were not part of the AI concept, this one is my original idea that I wanted to implement. And the way they work is, you print out the small parts, you add a piece of rope and attach it to the helmet slots ( yeah it's gonna be lots of work but those moveable dreadlocks are gonna be very epic on the helmet :D )
Whats included:
- helmet with dreadlocks slots
- helmet without dreadlocks slot
- 3 eye options: lens, vizor, narrow cutout for "glowing eyes / led"
- pre sliced helmet
- stl files
- 3mf files with support and print orientation
- "articulated" dreadlocks
- 2 dreadlocks connectors - angled and flat - for better control of the dreadlocks orientation
- Front mouth area cutout for better airflow ( can be covered with dark cloth on the inside)

it is a mix between those :) eyes apear to be working good :) its my own design so there is no 100% accurate color to be followed is needed :)

I see they are different sizes and wanted to make sure i make the right ones the goldfish color.. Thanks in advance if anyone has that answer for me!!!

2025-02-09 18:42:28 +0000 UTCno problem Eric :) the files are available on the "we are makers" tier - you joined the "youngling" tier - as it is mentioned before you join - youngling tier is a test tier, a cheap way to try out patreon - taht one does not have all of it included - the files you are looking for ( last month proejcts, this month project and a welcome pack) are all available at the "we are makers" tier - as it is mentioned on the main page before you join. to get all of them, you need to upgrade to "we are makers" tier as yougnling tier members do not have access to those ( as it is mentioned on the main page and tier description before you join) :) let me know if you will need any further help :)

2025-01-08 00:19:31 +0000 UTCThis model is awesome! Quick question though, I'm assembling the dreadlocks and struggling with getting the proper angle without the string showing. I tried using the angle connector but the transition from it to the flat piece seems too extreme and looks funny in my opinion. If I use the flat connector the string shows between it and the next piece unless I tighten the string really tight but then the dread is stiff and at a weird angle. It almost seems that there needs to be more angled pieces in the dreads to make a smooth transition or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated!
