But I couldn’t just make regular 3D models and leave you to figure it all out — so I went a bit overboard and decided to solve all the requests you guys had in the FB group.
The main requirements/challenges were:
It has to be easy to print
It has to be collapsible, so it’s easy to transport
OK im starting the month not with 1 but 4 projects :)
As I’m continuing the work on armor I had one side idea I thought would be really fun to make — grav charges inspired by WW2 army grenades that light up with the same LED setup you guys shoudl allready have :)

Instead of making a bunch of different diameter files, I created a small 3MF customization that lets you cut a hole to match the diameter of your choice.
Everything is explained in the video, and the 3MF file (which works in other slicers as well) is attached at the end of this post.

This time, I learned from the mistakes I made with Saruman’s staff and redesigned the pressure-fit strips. I added an extra edge/slot system to prevent any wobbling, so the staff should now be rock solid with no need for metal rods.

Buuuut, not just 1 helmet… not even 2 helmets… it’s actually 3 helmets! (Well, 4 if you count the fact that helmet #2 has 2 different options 😅).

Alright guys… I’m officially milking this holoprojector thing for all it’s worth :D
But hey — the goal is for me to squeeze every last drop of creativity out of these holoprojectors so we can use them in as many awesome ways as possible !!!
This one’s simple and straightforward, but ever since the small holoprojector came out, I had Doctor Strange shields in mind. The problem? The small one was… well… a little too small.

Just finished up the Guy Gardner ring, right after watching the new Superman movie — seemed like the perfect time!
I gave it a test print and it’s super easy to print and looks awesome. I also went the extra mile and split the model so you can either go with a filament/resin combo or print it fully in resin.
