No man can kill me .. part 2 :D

As promised, the awesome mace of the Witch King :)

Now this was very fun to figure out. The mace is a very large and heavy weapon so I did my best to make it work entirely with 3d printing :) In order for that to work I just had to do a minor chain design change, but they are still pretty close :)

The grip part has a slot for aluminum rod/ wood insert for structural strength.

Chains are fully printed in place, but due to them being so large and thick only 3 pieces will need some minor support. To make that part easier I added a pre-supported version as well - I didn't test it out just yet, so if you do it before I do it, please let me know how it goes.

The connector slots and chain strength are tested, and will post some photos soon :)

It was designed so the chain can be replaced at any time if needed, or if you want, you can use a real chain :)

The heavy Mace part is designed in a way to keep the large size but it is 4mm thick, so it's hollow inside so it won't be too heavy to use :)

Can't wait to start the print on this one :)

Happy printing and wish you all a nice weekend :)

Added to "we are makers" January 2024 folder :)

Don't know if anyone has mentioned but the insert rod for the handle needs to be 350mm not 35mm. Still a great design, building it at the moment!
