For this magic trick, the escape will be through the overhead door.

To unlock the overhead lock and chain, two 10-centimeter square holes have been cut.

She needs to get her hands out of the tank through these holes to unlock the lock.

However, because her body is fixed to the floor of the tank, she can't even reach the door, let alone the lock.

Therefore, in order for her to escape from this tank, she must first remove the handcuffs on her back that are restricting her hands.

Next, she needs to pick the padlock to unlock the chain that is fixing her body to the floor, and then unlock the overhead door.

She has to do all of this in a short amount of time, so if she wastes time struggling with something as simple as the handcuffs restraining her arms, she won't have enough time.

Once all the restraints are in place, the two staff members disappeared into the wings to bring the door for the front of the tank.

To the audience, she looked completely helpless, bound by chains and padlocks, unable to even move, let alone escape.

The male emcee approached and held a microphone to Mai.

"Amazing! You can't move at all, can you? It looks impossible!"

"Yes, it does," Mai replied with a smile, showing no sign of anxiety about the situation. She was smiling as if she was enjoying it.

"I understand that this magic trick is Mai-san's first attempt. Where does that confidence come from?"

The male emcee asked again, and Mai paused for a moment before answering.

"Well, honestly, I think it's quite a dangerous challenge, but it always works out somehow!"

The emcee was surprised.

(Huh!? What the heck!! She just casually said something outrageous!)

A sense of unease spread among the audience, wondering if she was really going to be okay.

As the two were talking, the staff returned to the stage carrying a heavy-looking steel frame.

頭上の鍵と鎖を外すために10センチ真四角の穴が２ヶ所開けられている

彼女はここから手を水槽の外に出して鍵を解除する必要があるのだ。

しかし彼女の躰は水槽の床に固定されているため鍵はおろか扉にすら手が届かないようになっている。

従って彼女がこの水槽から脱出するためには先ず両手の自由を奪っている背面の手錠を外し

次に躰を床に固定している鎖を解くために南京錠の鍵外し、それから、この頭上の扉の鍵を開けるしかないのだ。

彼女はそれを短時間でやらなくてはいけないので両腕を固定している手錠ごときに手間取っていたのではとても時間が足りないのである。

全ての拘束が終わると２人のスタッフは水槽正面の扉を持って来るために舞台袖に消えた

観客達には、がんじがらめに鎖と南京錠で縛られた彼女が脱出どころか身動き一つ出来ないようにしか見えなかった。

司会者の男性が近づき舞にマイクを向けた。

「凄いですね～もう全く動けないじゃないですか？これじゃあどうしようもないですよね？」

「えぇそうですね」微笑みながら答える舞の表情からは微塵もこの状態に対する焦りのようなものを感じられない。まるでこの状況を楽しむかのように笑っている。

「このマジックは舞さんにとっても初めての挑戦だと伺っていますが、その余裕は何処からくるのですか？」

再び質問を投げかける司会者の男性に対して舞は今度は少し間をおいて答え。

「う～んまぁ正直言ってかなり危険な挑戦にはるかとは思いますが、いつも何とかなってますから！」

司会者の男は驚いた。

（はっ！？何てこった！！とんでもない事をさらっと言っちゃってるよこの娘）

本当に大丈夫なのか？と会場中の人々の間にも不安が広がる。

2人が話をしているとスタッフたちが重そうな鋼鉄製のフレームを抱えてステージに戻ってきた。
