One of the male staff members appeared holding handcuffs.

Mai turned her back to the male staff member and placed her hands behind her.

The man cuffed her slender arms, restraining her.

Another staff member held a long chain.

He further bound her upper body with the chain, which was secured with a padlock at the crossing points to prevent it from easily coming undone.

Therefore, she would need to remove this padlock with just a wire to free herself from the chain.

For an ordinary person, this would be a difficult task, but it shouldn't be too hard for her...

更にもう一人のスタッフは長い鎖を持っている。

彼は手錠で拘束された彼女の上半身を更に鎖で結束してゆく

鎖の交差部分は簡単に外れないように南京錠を使ってロックされる。

従って彼女はこの南京錠も針金のみで外し鎖を解く必要があるのだ。

普通の人間なら難しい作業だが彼女にとってはさほど難しくはないはずだ……

しかし今回は後ろ手に手錠を嵌められているので難易度はいつもより高い。

司会者の男が彼女に言う「さあ、これで完全に自由を奪われたわけですね。

普通の人ならこの状態から抜け出す事すら不可能でしょう。

しかし彼女はこの後更にこの状態でこの狭い鉄の檻のような水槽に入りしかもその水槽を水で満たすというのです。

どれ程危険なマジックショーになるのか想像できません。」

普通ならば絶望的なシチュエーションだろう……

だが彼女にとっても今回のテレビ出演は彼女の名前を世間に売り込む絶好の機会だと思っていた。

なので多少の危険は覚悟の上である。

チェーンでの拘束が終わるとスタッフの男性が舞の手のに１本の細い針金を手渡した。

この針金だけが舞の命綱である。彼女は取り落とさないようにしっかりその針金を握りしめた。
