Echo helmet ready to print

Finally it's here :)

I know it took a while, but you cna now download and start printing the Echo helmet from Bad batch :)

As usual, multiple versions included, as well a mini one for small scale resin printing, and wireframe cutouts for test fitting. I also added an option for lights/led's for the helmet if you choose to go that way.

The lobot piece was a bit interesting to make. After reviewing footage from the show it is obvious that they skipped the physics part, so its a bit hard to have the lobot attached to the persons head with that super huge mount and beaing able to comfortably pu the helmet on/off or wear it.

So i approached it by using magnets and have the "lobot" piece be a seperate piece that you can  switch between the helmet and the head mount piece that is made wearable on persons head. That part has lots of room for ears or any adhesion that you might see fit. That part could also be a tricky print, but if i were to make a suggestion for the head mount - id suggest to make it out of foam for better fitting.

For electronics, good thing is you only need to add lights to one piece and that piece can be switched between the helmet and head mount. The goal was to try and replicate the entire helmet as seen on the show but with wearability and a real human in mind.

Hope its all clear but if not i will do my best to try and explain more :)

Send me some photos to my FB, a bit hard to understand what details are in the way :)

hey, not sure if i just have a large head (I didn't think so) but has anyone else noticed at 100% sizing this is hard to get on? Impossible actually. the underside detailing at the front, for me anyhow, carries too far toward the back of the helmet by about an inch causing it to bite into my forehead. if I twist the helmet sideways about 45 degrees and pull it forward so it bites into my neck I can get it down to my nose but no further. I have a death trooper helmet that is just a bit smaller in height and it goes over my head well and is still rather roomy inside once on. I guess i'm asking if there's any way to back that one piece od detailing by the chin up about an inch rather than increases the print size to 110% as it seems it would look like a bobble-head on me at that point. Maybe I just have a large head HAHAHAH
