So here it is, the awesome Lighthammer project :)
PRINTING GUIDE:
For quite a while now i had this idea of combining Asgardian tech with SW tech and finally when my first "real" lightsaber hilt arrived almost 2 weeks ago, i started working on the desing that was in my head all the time :D So there it is, just first of many :) The little video shows a bit of the "behind the scenes" so feel free to share it - im giving this youtube thing a try, let me know what you think :D

In the folder there are links to electronics/hilt used.
There are also photos to help visualize the build and to show the bridging on some parts.
IF going for a "real" hilt, pretty much any will work as long as the blade opening is at least 25 mm in diameter. To get the thunder effect i shared the hilt i used that has that effect preinstalled.
I have included Option 1 and 2 - the diference are the markings on the outside of the hammer - option 2 is cleaner more elegant, but i went with option 1 bcs i wanted to show the print capibilites, and now i kind of like it more :D
After printing i realized i made the model for my machines (with 0.4 mm nozzle) , so i went back and added "larger nozzle diameter" folder for those who use larger than 0.4mm nozzle - only diference is on the outside plates - they are a bit thicker and the main body a bit thinner to compensate for thicker plates.
Another fun fact - "glow intest" parts can be printed without support - your machine bridging will take care of that, as well "side covers". For those i used only a tiny support on the opening.
Top and bottom cover - i sliced them in 3 parts in prusa slicer to print without
supports as well ( photo included) - and make sure to use brim on those
IF you dont feel like using a metal/ "real" hilt i have also recreated a 3d model of
my hilt (at least a simillar one) that you can 3d print and use with electronics of
your choice.
ALSO - i would advise to use alluminum foil on some of the 3d printed parts on the inside to block out the light on unwanted parts and as well to incresse the glow. I added a few strips to the "body glow inside" and to the "glow insert"
Glow symbol and right/left covers have offsets so you can insert the "glow symbol" part to the "cover" part - the idea is that the symol is than flat to the plate while remaining easy to print.

Thats it, have fun, lets see your LIGHTHAMMERS :)
And as always i really appreciaate your support in this, sending you all much love, and wish you and your families all the best,
