Vote on new Doom Ports Punching Weight! [SSFF]

Yup! I bought it years ago because it had DS rumble support! And it's not really a clone, but an original game Carmack made with his ex-wife using the same engine they made for Doom RPG. Maybe that is a clone, actually? But we're considering it part of that "series" of five games. (we talk more about this in ep 67 of the podcast)

Was hoping for the PSX ports, but A) Be glad to watch any of 'em, especially the Delisted, and B) as of 5 days left it's sitting at exactly 666 votes, which is deeply appropriate

Doom RPG, Wolfenstein RPG and DooM Resurrection were some of the earliest games I tried on my iPod Touch!

doom RPG on a phone - no one remembers that :) remembering playing an early port as part of testing. happy days. :D

I am vaguely remembering a video about a port to Atari Jaguar that is incredibly bad. Weird assets and very poor performance. Was that Doom? Or another beloved 90s game?

The Doom 3 port is super interesting just because it's so insane what they pulled off. It's like the Doom SNES port levels of impressive in a lot of ways in that sense. The collector's edition also comes with some pretty solid ports of the Doom 1 and 2 which was a super nice bonus and they even have an exclusive new level each.

Always down for a Doom video. I'd like to see Doom 3 get some love. It was a great title, in it's own right.

I know you mention, it's already covered elsewhere - but as long as it was clearly labelled as just for those few versions, so be it. Whilst I'd love to see a SSFF spin on Doom Over the years, looking at the miracle of the SNES version, the fact the 3DO Version was knocked up by one bloody person, etc (other videos tend to focus on all the negatives), maybe others think the topic has been done enough elsewhere. But Uncle Derek's Positivity is just so infectious!

Personally I thought the RE4 iPhone port vid you guys did was pretty awesome, mostly because it was new information I'd never had a chance to dive into before. And I'm seeing the same thing with those weird 'delisted' iPhone Doom titles. Doom RPG? Dude, sounds like a riot! Could build it up from the weird ports and then back to your favorite ports, call the saga 'Doomsday' or something like that :) Whatever you guys come up with will be fun as always. Happy to look forward to it!

Has Doom 64 already been covered on the channel? Or just... covered enough online to not need coverage? Also I may have voted for the Xbox port of 3 because I like just... seeing that game's lighting. But I also want the PSX video lol
