Behind the scenes Poll

Hi Guys!

So we are still going over and hammering out the Zeebo Past Mortem, but it's still a week or so from being final. Which is making me feel itchy. That's too long without CONTENT!

It made Derek and I wonder if y'all would be interested in seeing an early cut of the video? It's pretty far along but missing a few finishing touches and rewrites. It could potentially be interesting for some people, but also it's not fully done yet, ya know? The entertainment and informational punches are not all the way dialed in. Would anyone still want to watch that, knowing that there's going to be changes? Let me know.

I feel like if I watched the pre-cut, Id probably not end up watching the full video, or at least not enjoy it as much, so Id much rather just wait. Take your time guys, its always worth it!

Wow, seems most people are a lot more patient than I am. But I get that… but I still want whatever I can now :-)

More time in the oven!

Can't rush perfection, take your time!

I wanna see the pre cut after the finished video

Gameplayer1500

We’ve waited this long, what’s another week? lol

I will wait but I am always interested in rough cuts.

Kouh Sijaed (Tear Cushion)

I'd love to see the pre-release, maybe also with some bloopers left in / stuck on the end.

Uncle Derek gaming memories vlog.

Why not cut together a trailer? That would be content, and it would create hype for the full video when it’s released.

I own a lot of early access games, I don’t need to start doing this with videos 🙂

Harry

I appreciate the thought! For me at least, I feel fine paying for the usual high quality content, even if it takes a while.

i'd love to see it but i'm not impatient!

Aimee!!!!!

So, I'm voting "rather wait" because I probably wouldn't end up watching the early cut, but I also feel like there's no real harm in making it available if you're already comfortable doing that.

Hey guys, if you don't want to see It don't see It. No reason to vote against It 😂

Gabriel Duque

Yes, completely agree with this. Very interested in seeing how the rough cut evolves from now until final, but I think I'd rather wait to watch the final first to get the video's full intended effects, and then look at the behind the scenes/rough draft afterwards.

DolphinArena

I wouldn’t mind either way, but I would say this could be a good idea for CERTAIN videos. I know sometimes you mention you may have missed something (like the bit with the Hello Kitty Dreamcast you both talked about), so it may be a good way to catch things last-minute you could have forgotten about? However, I doubt there are a lot of people that could mention anything related to the Zeebo 🤣

James Ottoson

Just tossing out a wild idea here, if it hasn't already been said. Consider saving a unrefined copy, release the fully polished cut first, and the release the unrefined copy for people who love the behind the scenes stuff. I'm personally pretty cool with either option.

I'm going to wait for the final cut! Don't worry about me, I don't mind gaps between releases! Just don't burn out!

TheRamenDon

I usually watch videos multiple times anyways so I would totally be interested in seeing the precut

I'm on the fence, so I'll say release the pre-cut, and later release the full polished one. Two videos out of one subject!

Josh Dionne

I actually love the idea of watching twice and seeing how the edit changes but alas it seems I am in the minority

I will watch it more than twice but I am needing new content lol. Alas I can wait, whatever the people want I'm fine with as long as you're putting something out. I can watch older stuff until then!

To be honest I think I would actually watch it twice, just to see how it changed from one version to the next but that might just be me.

thatguylouis

that's how i feel too tbh. i mean, if i wasn't already watching it a million times for the edit

Stop Skeletons From Fighting

Let's be honest here, I'm not going to watch it twice, so best to wait until it's done.
