If so, was there anything from the final part (which focused primarily on the botched reveal and launch of the xbone) that you wish you knew prior that you could've put in your past mortem on it? First off, happy new year! Second, I wanted to thank you for mentioning Inscryption in the last episode. I picked it up when it was on sale and I couldn’t put it down. Finally, my actual question is: do you guys think we will ever shut the “pandora’s box” of endless monetization for AAA games? I feel like Games as a Service and Battle Passes really drove us to where we are now, with Square Enix’s latest post about NFTs being a prime example of chasing the newest money making fad. I miss the days when horse armor was all we had to worry about.
