Hell, Forrest Taft, wiped out an entire oil field with just his bear hands (pun-intended) π» I can't imagine deamons being more ruthless than a militia of rednecks π Now, I'm sure to get backlash here but I'm mostly saying this in jest π

2021-07-26 20:36:03 +0000 UTCYa know, this is a bit of a weird observation but I thought I would make it: In the manual for the original Doom it states that just before the game starts Doomguy is waiting in an elevator while his crew goes on to try and stop the demons, but are promptly all slaughtered. He then proceeds to go out and wipe out the entire forces of hell single-handedly. Like, what's up with that? Was the rest of his team total trash? Did the demons just get super cocky or something? Anyhow, just wanted to know your thoughts on the matter (given your unabashed fondness of the franchise).
