First off, the podcast is being recorded tomorrow on the discord at 2pm PT! So get ready for that if you're in one of the podcast tiers. 😎

Most of the time when people offer us a a game code or ask us to unbox something we say no because it's not what I think our audience wants to see from us.

However, we had to make an exception for the Metal Storm Collection. For those of you that don't know, the first video that Derek ever made was a review of Metal Storm for the NES. It's the game that started it all in a lot of ways, and put us all on a trajectory to here, this moment. Kinda crazy! Derek has also told me multiple times that the original video is a bit embarrassing, but here's a link to it. I think it holds up well to be honest; it's a pretty tight seven minutes!

FYI, this video will not be charged to the Patreon since it wasn't labor intensive like our normal videos. More Secrets of the Nintendo DS Slot is coming next week, and then the Kinect Past Mortem is FINALLY coming out after that! Also, we're not affiliated with Retrobit in any way, beyond that they sent us this package. Hope you enjoy!

EDIT: I forgot when filming this that our old LCD monitor has flickering issues. 😅 I tried my best to fix it in post, but I had prioritize Derek whenever he moved something over the screen. So there is some flickering left in the video. Overall shouldn't be a huge deal, maybe most people won't even notice, but sorry I missed that on the day! -grace
