End of June Updates!

Hi everyone,

We’re plugging away on finishing some videos, but I wanted to take a sec and update you guys on a few things going on in the SSFF Clubhouse. It’s been a while since our last official update, so apologies, this one is a doozy! 

1. Pins!
   1. We’re going to get enamel pins at Fangamer! I’ve been working on getting this good for a while, but I’m excited to let you guys know that they should be online by July 2nd! Here’s a pic of what they look like, Derek and I are still waiting to get our copies, but we’re very excited. :)
2. Cons!
   1. We’re going to be at a Retro World Expo (Sept 8-9) and Portland Retro Expo (Oct 19-21)! These aren’t until later in the year, but we wanted to share it now. 
3. Video Schedules
   1. Now that I am out of school, Derek and I are planning on revamping the way we think about video scheduling. Basically what that means is that we’re going to try to make videos ahead of time, which we hope will get us on a regular posting schedule. This means that when a video finally goes live that there might be some minor changes from the Patreon version. For example, we updated the Expansion Pak video with some people who weren’t credited properly in the Patreon credits and real hardware footage of Quake 2 64. We just wanted to make sure everyone knows this up front because we really appreciate and respect the support you've given us.
4. Live Streams
   1. We stopped live streaming in March when we took our break, and then decided to keep it on hiatus while I finished up my college degree. Now that I’m graduated, we just want to make sure that when we come back to livestreaming, we do it right! So to that end I’m working on getting our computer 100% and making sure everything will run well once we get back on track.
5. Patreon Appreciation Month
   1. Last year we started a tradition of Patreon Appreciation Month, and while it was a ton of fun for us, we want to scale back a bit and make sure that PAM didn’t end up making it too difficult to make videos, especially as we are transitioning to a higher volume video schedule. We haven’t made any decisions yet, but know that we’re thinking about it and trying to figure out the best way to celebrate the community we’ve built on here. 
6. Patreon Podcasts
   1. Now that I’m out of school our evenings are a bit more free, and we’re planning on moving the recording of podcasts off of Saturdays to a day during the week. We haven’t 100% figured out the day yet, but we’ll have an announcement out for the July Patreon Podcast.
