Goin' On "Vacation"

We've been talking about it for a while now and we're not sure when the "right time" will appear but Grace and I are going on a vacation from SSFF productions. After we finish the Ed Fries Halo 2600 video, we will be taking a break from video production for the rest of March, perhaps even a week or two into April. This will include live streams and blogs, but Bad N Rad and Hot Scoops giveaways for the month of March will still be going out. We'll still be popping into the discord from time to time, but a full vacation from SSFF may also be a break social media stuff like discord and twitter.
This patreon was launched in May 2015 but the first "real" SSFF video, Hotline Miami 2, was uploaded March 2015. So it's been new videos every month for 3 straight years. We've made more content in 3 years then the HVGN did in 7. Grace and I are very proud of the body of work we've made and eternally grateful for the support we've had from you all but it's taken a toll on our personal lives and our relationship together. I've personally struggled with taking care of myself during these past few years and it's something I promised myself I'd get serious about in 2018. There's just no way I can keep the channel and patreon operating at the level I want to be when I'm hardly operational myself.
I've also had two deaths in my family in just the last month. My family has had its share of health scares over the last few years but these were both rather unexpected. It's no one's fault but my own but I haven't had much of a life outside of SSFF. It's time to focus on things more important than the channel, if for only a few weeks. So SSFF is not over, but I need some time away from it.
But we gotta keep the lights on so we'll have at least one video out for March (Halo 2600) and April (TBD), but no April Fools video this year and no live streams for a while. In order to truly honor all the support we've received from all of you over the years, we need to be able to deliver at the high standards we've set for ourselves. We'll be back soon, ready to take over the world but first a break to center ourselves again.

Your content has been consistently outstanding and you more than deserve a respite. I hope when you come back you'll feel re-vitalized, and if not, just aim for another break, whatever it takes.
