Punching Weight has returned! In this video, I finally get to talk about the HD remaster of Perfect Dark, one of the big inspirations for the Punching Weight show. Plus, I love any excuse to talk about Castlevania. We used music from Adventures of Cookie and Cream for the Super Mario section to avoid content ID stuff from youtube. I'm curriouse to see how people respond (or if they even notice!). Anyway, this video will be exclusive to you radical peeps until tomorrow afternoon! So enjoy!!
And while were here, how about a quick production update!
We were hoping to make January a bigger month with the Keiji Inafune video but getting that script to 100%, again, took more time than had budgeted. But the script is finished and the VO is mostly recorded. We'll have a preview up very soon hopefully, and this project out of our lives!
The PM Marvel vs Capcom script is just about ready, Grace has been trying to get in contact with anyone who can comment about liscensing details with Marvel characters and just about everyone said they aren't able to comment. A bit dissapointing, but not to surprising honestly, this type of thing is always "hush-hush" until it's ancient history, and we'd prefer not to fall back on rumors. We've still found a lot of interesting stuff, so look forward to that!
Also, anyone been playing Resident Evil 7?? We have and DAMN we're loving it! We definitely could to do a video for RE7 but we haven't decided what or even if we will.

I just did a bit of research on this, and their names are Tim Turi (He's on Twitter @timturi as well as capcom-unity.com), Greg Moore (also on capcom-unity.com, he does official podcasts), and finally Brett Elston (@Brelston on Twitter). I hope this helps your research, if even a little. Look forward to that video when it comes out.

2017-02-03 19:17:41 +0000 UTCThat Castlevania remake looks awesome. A remake I have conflicting thoughts about is Twin Snakes. The graphical upgrade and even some of the voice acting is much better. But the over top Matrix like additions to some of the cutscenes go too far on some occasions.
