Vote for the next episode of Punching Weight
Added 2016-02-04 00:31:44 +0000 UTCEpisode 1 of Punching Weight went really well, so the plan is to turn it into a monthly show. It's time to start production on the February episode, I've got a bunch of ideas for potential episodes but I want to take it to the people!
1) GameBoy Advance Does 3D
-There will be time to highlight the GameBoy Advance's shockingly deep library of first person shooters but did you know there were other games that attempted the third dimension? This is probably a topic we could return to multiple times down the line.
2) Special Hidden Remasters
-Games are remasters all the time, but these three remasters were hidden away for whatever reason and you probably didn't know they existed! Punching Weight doesn't always have to be portable games, this episode would feature games for PS1, PS2, and Xbox.
3) GameBoy Advance First Person Shooters (Part 1)
-Some of you might remember a livestream I did a few years ago highlighting GBA FPS', this would be basically that, but I promise it would feature at least two different games not covered on that stream (Medal of Honor MUST be covered though). This would of course also be a multi-part series for PW.
So cast your votes, 1, 2, or 3!
For the record, we got a ton of requests for the unreleased Resident Evil port for GBC, but March is Resident Evil's 20th anniversary so we plan to cover it then. And Doom and Wolfenstein 3D will be covered in their own separate episodes.
Also, we're not quite ready to take a vote for the next episode of Past Mortem. That show was also very well-received and will be monthly (hopefully, it's a more production-heavy series, so we'll see). We'll definitely poll future episodes here in the activity feed up when the time is right.
