Unintentionally uploaded this on the 8th anniversary of my first video. Can't believe I've been doing this for so long!

8 years ago huh? Seems like not long ago, I saw the posts on the Screwattack forums for Metal Storm and Journey to Silius. Dem recordings off the TV. Oh, how time flies.

Well...I guess my comment maybe sounds a bit confusing. XD What I meant was...are they directly linked, as in all Dragon Slayer games take place in the same world, and share locales or concepts like the Dragon Slayer you mentioned and the World Tree, similiar to say...the Fire Emblem series? Or is this more like Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior, who are not directly linked, but still part of a series (and who eventually WERE linked via multiverse/Alternate dimension plot points in Dissidia and Dragon Quest Heroes.)?

Many years ago I watched the Retroware tv review on Dragon Slayer, legend of Heroes, and it said that both this game and Legacy of the Wizard are all part of the same series. I wonder if this means spiritual sequel/spin off, or if actually the games are connected by plot or shared locale. Can you give me any insight into this?

solid review, man! entertaining from start to finish, and i found the section on the mist area to be really informative; definitely something i'll use as reference for background design. only issue i had with the video was that the music (during times when you weren't talking) seemed significantly louder than your voice. it might be noticeable for me because i tend to watch videos about eight feet away from my computer monitor + speakers, but i felt like i had to turn the volume down during the short music-transition segments breaking up your commentary.
