With Chapter 39 posted, Arc IV: Migration is now complete. Per my current plan, the next arc will be posted in July. Thus, it is completely understandable if people want to swap over to the free membership now and rejoin as paid members later.

Of course, I'll be quite delighted by those that stay.

With that out of the way, the next arc is Gamers. This is the 5th arc of Netherwitch and consists of 10 chapters and ~82,000 words. This makes Arc V: Gamers slightly longer than Arc IV: Migration. Speculate as you will. I'll be tossing up a teaser in mid May, which will give more details.

Post Release Thoughts and Reflections

With posting on Royal Road, Space Battle, and Patreon complete I thought I'd put down my thoughts. Compared to the initial release, this was much less stressful. In part, because it wasn't make it or break it. But also because I was able to get all my ducks in a row.

As for the overall result? The Space Battles following has been growing nicely. What's more, when I crossed 200ish watchers, the comments picked up beautifully as well. So, my decision to post on SB has been reward. I'll admit, it was rather touch and go earlier where I face a great deal of silence and disappointment with each new chapter.

Of course, I'm always greedy for more comments :).

Royal Road, by contrast, went sideways for the first two weeks. For the last three chapters, however, the speed has picked up by a lot. Thus things are looking decent even after the sideways motion. We'll see what falls out over the next weeks, but I fear Royal Road will be a slow dribble of growth from now on.

Unless I splurge on Ads anyway.

My big hope for RR right now is that I've shaken loose most of the readers who can't bear to pick up a story after a 2 month break. But, we'll see if this is the case in July. I might well go sideways for a week or two then too.

Other Notes

I'll be cleaning up the Netherwitch Index post in the next couple of weeks. To start, the paid chapters will be put up top so they're easier to find.

Additionally, I want to port over all the edit changes for the Arc III: Tartarus. This will bring patreon up to date with the latest. All the Tartarus chapters will be opened up to free members too so everyone can see the beautiful comments.

Beyond this, I'd like ideas on pictures. I made quite a few for the first few 3 arcs, and added some to Arc IV to bulk it out. However, come Arc V I'm running thin with 4 total (including the opening). I'd like to bulk that up.

Oh, and feel free to post any feelings, ideas, or random thoughts here or the in the vast and empty community. If you poke me right, I might be inspired to add more posts in the run up to July.
