Question for Polls for the Future!

Would you guys rather me keep doing what I've been doing with polls (that being, me giving you like 4-5 genres, you guys pick the genre, then I grab characters from that genre for you guys to vote on, on the final poll)
Reasoning behind this Option: It allows me to be more precise on what characters you would most likely want from a specifc genre, so for example Goth chicks won, I'd have more goth chick options rather than the other choice, which would probably have 1-2. ALSO if this answer gets picked I might ask YOU guys what kinda genres you'd like to be inserted into the polls! To make it more fair and have even more specific characters involved!

I just select a random assortment of characters and let you guys vote on what you'd like?
Reasoning Behind this Option: It'll skip a whole Poll, so I can get my result faster in who I need to draw, It'll be random characters everytime, I'd be basically putting over 100 characters in a randomizer and listing about 10-12 each time, no matter what the genre is, so there could be a repeated genre of characters! If this answer gets picked, I'll most likely have a post prior to a poll on what kinda character's you'd like to see in a poll! (NOT EVERYONE'S WILL BE PICKED IN THAT POLL, BUT RATHER THROWN INTO THE RANDOMIZER FOR A CHANCE AT WINNING IN FUTURE POLLS)
TLDR; Option A allows me to be more precise with what kind of character you'd most likely want to see, and Option B allows me to get polls results faster, BUT it won't be more precise on the character you'd like to see and the listing of characters will be randomized.
