"Cursed objects - give us promos of transformations from your game!"
What's this? No art?!
Yup. This one is going to be a little different. To end the year, I wanted to get something special into the next release of the Cursed Game. When I spoke to my influencer about this one, we agreed that new features would be the best way to promote the game after August and September accidentally went by update-free. I gathered a list of planned features for the core game and we made a list of favorites to get in first.
So, for this poll, you decide the next piece of content for the end of year update!
Listed below are items with a title, a basic description of the mechanic, and a vague breakdown of requirements to complete the feature. These are ambitious features from a technical level, and each will lend to moar things over time; However, I feel confident that I can get one of these done by end of year.
So... let's begin:
A: The Cave Lizard disguise
Description: A purely aesthetic, uncursed, three-piece scalie suit. Once all three pieces are found and worn, cave lizards just leave the player alone. Can also be observed at any time in inventory window. It looks dumb, but the cave lizards are dumber.
Requirements: Limbs have 'attachable' clothes both on world-view and inventory-view, support for clothing with specified 'attachments', lizard costume art, and three wearable items for the 'chest', 'legs', and 'head'
B: Der Inversive HörsêShü (Horse UDTF)
Description: A horse-shoe for 'luck'. On equip, the player cannot hold a sword, but they are also really strong. They become larger over time, but they also slowly transform into a horse rear-end and lose all intelligence. This is also a step to adding 'feral' transformations to the game. May be full or partial, depending on time.
Requirements: Perk system attached to Limbs and Body, A "luck" perk, "strength" perk, and "intelligence" perk, possibly a new 'bad end' state
C: The Amulet of Endless Halls
Description: The beginning of procedural dungeon generation. Generated dungeons have a maze-like appearance with a clear end and start. On wear, the amulet would break that rule and make the dungeon perpetually make more and more rooms infinitely, generating encounters and items with no end in sight. On removal, the level generation returns to normal, and an exit appears nearby.
Requirements: Level generation, investigate if AI movement library needs pro edition to support dynamic path generation, create/cleanup dungeon tilesets, big effort.
As usual, I'm leaving the poll open for roughly a week. Choose wisely!
