Beach camping!

I haven’t been in years and no one was really on the beach so I think I could’ve been bold enough for a beach change but it was so much fun to be in my swimsuit having fun with snacks and playing with beach toys! That little roller toy became an absolute fave and was so satisfying to smush and roll the sand flat and cool treats and snacks for daddy in my sand kitchen. One of my favorite moments at the beach was him reading his big boring adult book I honestly don’t understand and wouldn’t even if I tried.. while I played in the sand and found tiny little crabs and made “food” and just watched the waves. The hours honestly flew by
The night before we camped and did foil packet dinners (another fave from camping as a kid). I did steak and veggies and beyond brats for a veggie packet (I’m getting better with making both kinds of meals and it’s making me proud haha) and ended it doing crescent roll dough with thin sliced green apples; butter and brown sugar in a foil packet and holy heck… best made up recipe because it was amazing. I even caught myself making s’mores on the stove top once I was back. The only thing I didn’t miss.. the skunks that got way too close 😂 have you ever gone beach camping or have any camping plans for the summer?
