RAKU! cleaned up work
Added 2024-09-26 08:55:21 +0000 UTCI've been dragging my feet on cleaning these up, but finally got some polished up! I still have another few pieces to scrub the soot off of, but I am beyond pleased with how cute they are!
It's really hard to tell in the photos, but the dinosaurs and the dark pig have some really lovely color effects. They are extremely lustrous in person and the photos just don't do them justice <3
I'm planning a ceramics restock for October and will be listing a few of raku pieces to the shop. I really would love to keep them all, but it just isn't practical to keep more than one Kayari Buta (the incense burners for the pigs).

Bravo! Excellent work. The dinosaurs are so expressive. Lovely lusters. So sorry about the one broken one. Pottery, especially Raku, keeps us humble.
