Realistic costume - sketch idea

Jerry was running late for the Halloween party. While his friend waited impatiently outside, Jerry scrambled for a costume. Finally pulling on a goofy ghost shirt with “boo” across it. He hated it, and tried to stall for time.

But in his distraction, Jerry didn’t notice what was hiding above his lamp: a tiny alien ship, camouflaged in plain sight. It crept silently, until it latched onto his head with a sudden sting. Jerry screamed as the ship wired deep into his brain.

Moments later, his friend knocked again. “Jerry” answered calm, smiling, and ready.

At the party, his “costume” stunned everyone. They praised how realistic it looked, asking how he pulled it off. With a dumb grin, Jerry nodded vaguely. The alien still adapting to his brain, learning through his grey matter.

By the end, “Jerry” hinted there might be more costumes like his… unknowingly drawing his friends closer into the alien’s trap.

🕸️ i had this idea in mind for months ago and thought it would be a nice theme for October but I couldn’t resist waiting until Halloween. So, I didn’t wait to sketch it!
Should I clean this comic up? it could be nice once Halloween starts. Maybe adding one panel more of others sharing Jerry’s fate?
