Brain takeover Prologue

Before the alien crew could secure their prize, a lone human soldier, they were unexpectedly beaten to the chase. From the fractured remains of a shattered research facility, a group of strange, parasitic creatures emerged—amorphous body, but eerily intelligent. They moved like tendrils of living smoke, coiling and constricting as they descended upon the soldier.

He barely had time to raise his weapon before they struck. The rifle was wrenched from his hands and shattered like glass. He struggled, but the creatures were undeterred. They approached, dragging him across the metallic floor to the center of the chamber where he was caught.

The soldier’s heart pounded as he was strapped to the cold slab beneath the construct. Above him, tube-like machine descended, bristling with gleaming tools. A low hum filled the air, vibrating his teeth, worming into his skull. He shouted again, voice cracking with rage and panic, but no one came. No help. No command. Just the creatures and their machine.

Then the interface dropped into the upper part of his head, suction cups ingraining into his skull.

Suction sounds started as the machine began its work. Nanofibers threaded into his brain, mapping memories, rewriting neural pathways. His screams grew distant, filtered, then silenced. A band squeezed his frontal lobes, making easier for the creatures to remove that region that resulted a "debris" for them.

Where once there was a man, now there was a vessel.

His brain became the cockpit. Neural pulses became buttons. Thought became function. An alien pilot slithered into the bio-hatch at the base of his spine and coiled around his central nervous system like a parasite wearing a puppet.

The transformation was complete.

The soldier's body stood, rigid and silent, no longer his to command, now tested by his new masters. His mind was no longer his, flickering like static, a vessel trapped inside a ship that now sailed for another master.

Hello everyone! I finished the post I shared a few days ago. I also finished recording the rest of it. Of course it has a password that you'll have to ask it for me to watch it. I'm open to any comments too.
