Sorry for the radio silence since I announced my sort-of-hiatus. There are several updates on my end that seem worth sharing, so I'll have at it.
First of all, I have no idea how long construction will last. I had the pleasure of witnessing a conversation between the remodel's project manager and my landlord. During this conversation, likely in an attempt to assuage my wife's and my shared concerns about the project, she attempted to confirm that the contractors in our home would be out within the three weeks we had heard. The project manager shook his head, sighed, and gave a frustrated, "No, that's not accurate." I guess the three weeks was an estimate invented on the spot by our landlord and not official.
That said, as long as my art slowdown is in effect the Patreon will remain free to all users. I doubt making April free will be needed, but if that's what it comes to it'll happen.
There is good news, though. Part of why I've been missing all week is that I've been spending my free time apartment hunting, with many promising results! If we're lucky my wife and I may be moved before construction is completed, as we have several tours scheduled for tomorrow.
