All Moved In!

Hey everyone, we're all moved in and I finally have my PC set up in it's new location. I have a bit more unpacking to do today, but will be starting up my regular work schedule again as of tomorrow so updates on Zelda, Mel and more are right around the corner!

Hello everyone!

This will be the last update before I'm in the new place later this week. Packing is going well, and it's about time that I pack up my computer and art set up.

I already have the order for the new internet hookup at the apartment placed, so there shouldn't be a gap in my internet service. We should be able to get all moved in and unpacked this week, so work should be back underway by next week! I'm super excited and at this point itching to get back to drawing.

The lease is signed, we have a new place- woo!

The original unit we had lined up went out from under us, which is fine, but now our move-in date is March 17th instead. Either way I'm just excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Construction Troubles

My landlord decided now was a really good time to demolish and remodel both of our bathrooms, despite my wife's pregnancy and the pandemic. Aside from being a huge hassle and distraction, it has the potential to interfere with my work as an illustrator. I was gonna wait to post this till tomorrow, but my day filled up with errands, so have it early!

This shouldn't have taken as long as it did, but when inspiration strikes its the artist's duty to capitalize on it! Had big ideas for a redesign for Bonito, which really was less of a redesign and more of a realization of what I was going for in the first place (you'll see what I mean if you look at the very first, awkward images I drew of her).

Bo Wip 3 (Finished Lines

The finished lineart! I'm well in to coloring now, so it should be up soon. It seemed odd to leave the unfinished lineart from before hanging, though.

Woo boy I had no idea how much going long on Topi last week would throw my whole schedule off. This week I'll push hard to get us back on the mark.

Still quite rough, but thought I'd shake things up! Really play up the size difference between Bo and Kibbs and go a bit more all out. Really want to make her design look more slithery, slippery and soft. Let me know what you think!

My eyes are so much bigger than my pen when it comes to projects lmao. Remember how I said Topi was delayed because it ended up 3 parts? Well, I guess I actually meant 7 edits, smh.
