I am so very late to this video but I really liked the book " a short history of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson! it came out in the early 2000s I believe so it is a bit dated, but I mean I am no expert on the subject so I really enjoyed it! Also for romantasy, not sure if you've read fourth wing but I'm literally obsessed with it. ACOTAR personally wasn't for me, I only got through the first two books but I adored fourth wing!
