Nikki and Tails - Comic Concept art

I put some notes down for my comic series I wanna do with them.
Notes -
Nicole's hair was in braids because of how curly it was when she was younger, as she got older she decided to let her curls run free which lead to my design of her.
Younger Tails looks more stubby aka like his classic design you would see in Sonic Mania.
Tails is much much taller than Nikki, their height difference can be shown with him pulling her towards him in the lower right hand corner.
Tails have helmet hair whenever he does a mission or removes his helmet, a cute detail I thought I would draw since I don't really see anyone do it.
Waaay back in the day when I first started drawing my version of Nicole I gave her very fluffy paws cause shes a lynx, I am gonna bring that back.
Tails and Nicole's relationship is a slow burn, they get closer and closer despite it being looked at weird by other mobians.
I doodled to help my nerves out a bit. And I am happy I was able to produce some more lore for my world.
