That late Big ol' Monthly Update Post! And why you should join me on Subscribe Star!

Hey peeps, sorry it took me so long to make my big update post, but I've been insanely busy mostly with the latest HypnoLab release. But now that's all over and I have the rest of the month to mostly focus on The Couch and Our Apartment for a little while among few other things.  

So here's a run down of what I've been doing and whats going on the rest of this month.

With my suspension last month, and other peoples issues I've come to the conclusion that I'm bound to be suspended at some point. And when that time comes i likely won't budge on making "changes", I do what I like. As I said before I've not relied on this patreon for my income, almost all the money has gone to commissioning music, voice acting, programming, and other things I can't do well.

Now while that's not going to stop at all, as my quality standards dictate that i must commission these people. I do want to give more attention to these projects you guys support. 

But I've been insanely busy outside of the work for this patron, in fact i accepted too much work and made some people quite mad with me I think people i still owe for now. And as a result I made some changes to what clients I work for in the future so I have more free time. This is at a pretty big reduction in my income for now, and i'm still trying to clean up some past mistakes made.

So with this change i'm aiming to give those clients higher quality (and thus aim to be paid more/ more frequently), and also work on myself more with the projects this patreon supports, along with finding time to go to the gym (I consider this my hobby now since art is my job lol).

And for this reason that's why it's super important that my income be stable, and my issues with patreon is why I haven't done this before. I never wanted to be in a situation where some website can just uproot my business. If i want to put forth a good effort i can't have that hanging over my head. 

So as you've seen i put much effort over the last months into making a path to solidifying my income by pushing into new options. First with Kupaa networks, which will allow me to be fully independent from these services. And now with Subscribe Star which i've had my eye on for some time. You may remember i mentioned Red Lantern in the past, and while that's still active I don't think i have enough time to wait months.

Patreon has recently proved that established character age has no bearing, looks is a shaky matter, and context is irrelevant. I've been monitoring a wide range of suspensions from various artists and it keeps getting proven. And with Our Apartment or other projects i may do i don't want to worry about this factor cause I don't always want to draw massive tits, or i think a school girl outfit is cute sometimes.

Maybe Naomi being cute will do it, maybe compared to the 6'3" Male avatar Naomi will look too short and that will do it. Maybe keeping Alex off patreon isn't enough, I can't use her design at all.

I've decided I'm not gonna worry about these things and do what I want to do. But for now i'm going to be a bit careful to let things ride out a bit longer. 

If you clicked the Subscribe Star link above you may notice there's only a single welcome post. That will be the case for a little while, I'm uncertain how patreon will handle the rules at this point so i'll be a bit slow with the content i post that i think patreon will have an issue with especially since i'm linking to that content.

What will I get on Subscribe Star I can't get here on patreon?

To make things clear I will still bet posting here on patreon as usual. I don't intend to abandon this account at all, i'm merely preparing for expected behavior. That said, this patreon won't be as much of a focus because of some content i worry patreon wil suspend me for.

So here's specifically what the difference will be. 

• All content related to the character "Alex" will be Subscribe Star Exclusive, as posting her here got me suspended in the first place. Her design on Subscribe star will not be publicly posted due to me linking from here to subscribe star regularly.
• Any content I view visually may cause issues with patreon will not be posted here. 
• Over time content like PSD's from sketch raffles will be reposted to Subscribe Star, old builds will not though.
• There is no longer a $1 tier but a $2 tier instead, the reason for this is lewd posts don't need to be made "subscriber only" so forcing people to pay $1 to see a NSFW post is unnecessary. And generally it seems like $2 is as easy to pay as $1 while also doubling income from my perspective. I want this to be a supporter role not simply an access tier, but I still want it to be accessible.
• That said I can post lewd content publicly now, instead of having to make two posts.

You may also notice that I've changed the wording of the tiers, also they lack images...I fucking redrew ALL my previous tier images to add them to the page and then i realized they're fucking square not rectangle XD. So i need to fix them up more then i'll add them later lol.

Anyway yeah the wording. So i didn't write the original tiers, I hired someone to do them, who was also supposed to handle distribution. But then they vanished. So I haven't been able to keep up with those goals cause they simply take too much time. and often there's such a wait i feel guilty making people wait longer lol. 

So expect posting to both here and subscribe star to reflect that model (i'll update here soon).

So yeah, it's up to you if you want to jump over, subscribe star does not have Paypal currently so that's definitely a factor for some. I'll keep this patreon up as long as patreon lets me or if there's an overwhelming majority elsewhere. 

Ok enough about that, whats new with The Couch and Our Apartment?

Ok so as i mentioned before i would be buying some assets. Namely, Dialogue System and Mesh Assembler, I wanted some others but couldn't afford them just yet. 

Dialogue system i'm experimenting with replacing my dialogue needs for The Couch so that development on that can move forward again. It seems promising but has some limits i'll need to work around. I'll update more on how that plays out soon.

Mesh assembler was bought for the purpose of allowing additional outfit options. So far that's working good as well.  Right now Naomi has 3 outfits made, her shirt dress outfit, the Babydoll Negligee, and a skimpy underboob shirt. Whats needed is her outdoors casual outfit. That will come after this next animation release. I'm commissioning the programmer who did the camera to set up a outfit change UI set-up soon.

As of now Naomi and the Male avatar has been implemented in unity and all that's needed is completing the animations, previews for that will be soon. The animation was requested by our major supporter JRPL as well. So look forward to that this week!

Some quick details about the male Avatar i'm not sure i mentioned before. 

• The male avatar is 6'3", their figure is intended to be somewhat stout or average, this has some plot relevance, but mostly cause I like size difference and it's a bit rare.
• Pole size is a realistic above average length 7" and exceptional but also realistic 6" circumference. 
• Currently the set up allows customizing the color, and soon the Pole will have color adjustment similar to The Couch, the body will remain silhouette though.
• The Head and hands on the male avatar can be isolated.  
• I would like to do more customization in the future, but thats low priority...I've considered doing hats for now cause that would be easy lol. Maybe varying dick types (though still the same overall size due to animations)
