Btw, the reference to them doing mind reading on goats, that's actually 100% something our military did. There's a movie about it called "The Men Who Stare At Goats", starring George Clooney and Ewan McGregor (very fictionalized, don't expect a serious biopic, it's definitely to make fun of our military)

i agree

Ariana Meyer

I am pretty sure that the young Francis is the same boy in the show called High Potential. In case anyone has seen it. He plays the son of the main character

Emily Carmen

I love this show so much already

Jake

My mom literally said it reminded her of goosebumps at the same part Wes said it 😂

Austin

Rewatching, I realized the director Andy Muschietti is playing the piano at the beginning of this episode at the Freak Show.

Chrissy

I am obsessed with these kids 🤭 they are all so stinkin cute, yet also resourceful and smart, they are so entertaining to watch!

Amanda Caroline

Oh my God this started off with a banger! I was literally froze in the beginning after she gave birth to that demon thing 😨 and shes just laughing while holding to the umbilical cord... Jesus... I mean damn ... Exceeded my expectations BY FAR . So glad I watched this series with you guys! This show made me go out and buy emotional support chapstick 😂

Mimi Lee

Same 😭I decided I’m only watching this series through them I cannot do it alone

Kelly

Weeeee! I was waiting all weekend to watch that with y'all. I'm too scared to watch It alone, lol, so this great... though, to be fair, I don't think I would've been that scared with this episode. Still, everything's better in The Patch! <3

I enjoyed this episode. I think maybe the cemetery scene was a bit campy because we were dealing with kids. We might not be scared of the silly ghost kids but a child certainly would be. Let's face it (no pun intended) If they had seen things in the cemetery much worst, they might not have been brave enough to take pictures. I agree Wes it was a bit " Goose Bumpy" I think that was intentional. Thoughts?

Patricia Grant

That's exactly what I've been talking about since episode 1. The "scares" are SO cartoonish that they AREN'T SCARY. I haven't seen a single thing that has even given me a chill. But the storyline unfolding on the base IS VERY INTERESTING!!

Violet

The graveyard scene, wasn’t great. Compared to the effects we’ve seen…ehh. Everything else, on point though.

Chrissy

The kid's don't know yet that the air force knows about Pennywise, but they're the only one's that would believe there story and can help get Ronnie's dad out.

Angry_Pigeon

The fan theory, that’s strongly supported is that Marge and Rich are Ritchie Tozier (from the movies) parents

Chrissy

Oof yeah that final sequence really did not work, unfortunately 😭 Looks like a combination of poor planning, rushed visual effects (and way too much CG, the sheer amount of work involved for that scene alone was setting the VFX artists up for failure with a TV budget), and a misfire on tone. Some of the other scare sequences in this show have been great and really spooky so far, but this one was corny 🥲

Sabrina

Even the flying baby(swinging the umbilical cord around) was a bit too campy for me in the first ep🤣 But I think it's just how the makers of the show wanted it to be

Petra

Omggg I was literally in the middle of typing a comment about it giving goosebumps and istg you immediately said it as I was about to post it 🤣 it’s fun ig, but it definitely felt like an episode of goosebumps in 2025 lol
